  As a full-time nurse, finding a daycare I could truly trust was one of the most important (and stressful) decisions I’ve had to make. I can honestly say that choosing this daycare has been one of the best decisions for my family. My child has been attending Watchful Eye Daycare 2 (WED2) since just 3 months old and she is still there now, 2.5 years later. The care, attention, and love shown by the staff throughout every stage have been nothing short of amazing. Knowing my work schedule can be unpredictable at times, it gives me so much peace of mind to know my child is in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment every single day. The staff go above and beyond—not just in supervision, but in teaching, communication, and genuinely caring about each child’s development. Over the years, I’ve watched my child grow, learn, and thrive in ways that make me so grateful for this center. If you’re a working parent, especially in a demanding field like healthcare, this is the kind of place that truly supports both you and your child. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

  My daughter struggled with severe separation anxiety, to the point where her previous daycare politely asked us to withdraw her because she cried too much. We didn’t want to give up, so we searched for a daycare with more structure and a true classroom setting. From the very beginning, Miss Ana assured me that they would help guide my daughter through the transition and she absolutely delivered on that promise. My daughter attended Watchful Eye for almost three years, and I could not have imagined a better outcome. Not only is her speech now above average, but she also writes her letters, spells, and sounds out words at the age of three. People are always amazed by her abilities. There is truly something special about this daycare. We recently had to move due to my husband’s job opportunity, and while touring new daycares, I’ve realized just how exceptional Watchful Eye is. I never thought I’d appreciate something as simple as the children taking their shoes off at school, but it made the environment so much cleaner and calmer. The new school’s classrooms are nowhere near as clean. There is mud everywhere. I also miss the worksheets the 3’s classroom used. My daughter looked forward to practicing her letters every day. The science experiments were her absolute favorite. I am so impressed by Watchful Eye’s curriculum, especially now that I’ve seen what other schools offer. What stands out the most is the staff. My daughter has had some truly special teachers who changed her life in ways I will forever be grateful for. It is clear that Watchful Eye is very intentional and selective about who they hire, and it shows in the love, patience, and professionalism every teacher brings to the classroom. We miss this school dearly. My daughter still asks if we can call just to say hi, that’s how deeply connected she feels to the people there. I cannot thank the staff enough for the love, structure, and genuine support they gave my daughter. You will not find another gem like Watchful Eye. I TRULY cannot say enough good things about this fantastic school!

  I don’t have enough good things to say about Watchful Eye Daycare 2. Sending my daughter to daycare is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and finding WED2 (after a bad experience elsewhere) has been the best thing for all of us. WED2 has become our second family, a place I not only feel comfortable but excited to send my daughter. It is apparent they care about her, treat her like their own, and teach her so much! And providing all of her meals is such a bonus- one thing I can take off my mental load! We’ve been there for almost two years, and are just so thankful to have them in our village. Everyone has been fantastic, but special shout out to Ms. Anna (we love you!), Lily, Z, Rachel, and Sumona.

  My child has been attending Watchful Eye Daycare 2 (WED2) for 2 years now, and I am very happy with how well they take care of my child. The providers here are wonderful -- trustworthy, truly care for my child, communicative, and serious about their jobs. They have a safe environment for my child to play and learn in. I did my research on daycare providers (centers and in-home) before selecting WED2 and they have exceeded my expectations. They have a curriculum for the older kids, they have a fenced-off on-site playground (with water play in the summer!), they help with potty training, they have an occasional and very reasonably priced Parents Day Out... just to name a few things they do! My child absolutely loves going here, and I consider WED2 part of my village.

  I miss my children's first daycare. The teachers especially , Ms. Tiffany communicated very effectively. She was there from the start of their day to the finish. Humble and dedicated. If I can move back here , just to put them in a welcoming daycare , I would. Everyone stayed on top of things and tried to let us know exactly how my children's day went. Starting daycare for my children went pretty smoothly. It was easy to drop of my children and pick them up. Coats already on and strapped in the car seat when my daughter was in a baby carrier. I loved it . For a mom who works all day long, it was a pleasure to have my babies here.

  We've had an incredible experience with Watchful Eye Daycare 2 in Ellicott City. The teachers are caring and thoughtful, and we find it very helpful that all meals are provided so we do not have to pack meals or snacks everyday. We are pleasantly surprised that they even wash our child's clothes after an accidental spill. And their monthly "parent’s day out" is a huge bonus! Highly recommend to any parent seeking quality daycare.
