  • In just two months at this daycare, my son experienced multiple incidents that raised serious concerns. He was bitten on May 6, scratched in the face on May 13, and slapped by the teacher’s own son on another occasion. I decided to take him out on this last incident- I picked him up and noticed he had a low-grade fever—which is dangerous for him, as a fever can trigger a seizure. I reminded staff of his seizure emergency plan on file and that his emergency rectal medication was in his backpack. They admitted they never properly stored it and even said, “Oh, I was wondering what that EpiPen was.” They also told me they would not administer the medication in the event of a seizure and would wait for first responders. Despite having all documentation and medication on file, they said they wouldn’t have accepted him had they known how serious his condition was. I immediately withdrew him. I do not recommend this daycare due to major safety, health, and communication concerns.

  • If you are looking for a daycare for your child, look no further. This is a great center and my child loves it there. The teachers and staff show lots of dedication, care, kindness, and support for each and every child and always take time to tell you about your child’s day and progress.

  • After searching for daycare options, we were forced to expand our search into Salisbury. With an abundance of luck, we were directed to Young Achievers Early Learning. We ended up securing the only spot available for our 17 month old which was a blessing, as we had been on a dozen waitlists for about 9 months. I can say this much, we lucked out. After a few weeks of making the 30 minute drive, we realized the drive was a small sacrifice to make. All of the teachers at YAEL are genuinely supportive and caring. Our toddler runs into the center when he sees the building. The app they use is updated by the minute to include detailed notes and photos. The owner is passionate and sincere. We quickly realized our search for daycare is over for the foreseeable future. If you are lucky enough to get a spot with this group, you’ll see just how amazing these teachers truly are.

  • Our girls are three years old and this is their first time going to daycare in their entire lives. I knew it would be a struggle the first week with dropping them off every day and a brand new routine, but the team at young achievers learning center were prepared, and were very thorough and communicative throughout the entire week to ensure that our kids had a great time and our hesitations of daycare were diminished. Everyone at Young achievers learning center is caring, compassionate, and ensures that they have a great environment for all the kids. I’m excited for what is to come over the next several months as our kids continue to acclimate themselves. Highly recommend!

  • I would definitely recommended Young Achievers. The facility is conveniently located off the highway, in the Beaver Run business park. The staff is pleasant, the facility is clean and welcoming, and the curriculum is age appropriate. I can’t praise Mr. Aaron in the toddler class enough. He’s patient, I’ve seen him in the floor reading and doing activities with kids, and having a male figure in a classroom is rare and I love to see it.

  • My daughter started in March of this year. We had a rough start with daycares. When we switched I was so scared. But Ms Nicole, Ms Keisha, Ms Stacey and many more have made this the best day care. I saw an instant change in my girl. She was happy to go to daycare. She didn’t wanna leave daycare. The care providers have made her feel like she is one of the family. They have taught her some sign language and her speech is getting better everyday. They work with her with things we would like to reinforce like feeding herself. She was 14 months when she started and didn’t know how to feed herself and with the help of Ms Stacey and Ms Kim, my daughter learned how to use utilizes and feed herself. I would 100000% recommend anyone to this daycare. They care about your child as if that child were their own. I can’t thank the staff enough for helping my little girl come out of her shell and really thrive.

How many children is Young Achievers Learning Center licensed for?

Does Young Achievers Learning Center operate all year?

Maryland records Young Achievers Learning Center as a "Full Year" programme. That is the schedule on the licence record rather than a timetable, so confirm term dates and closures with the provider.

Does this page show inspection results for Young Achievers Learning Center?

No. Maryland inspects licensed child care programmes and publishes the results through Check Child Care Maryland at checkccmd.org. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Young Achievers Learning Center's inspection history either way. This page's record comes from Maryland Family Network's LOCATE service, which carries licence and status data rather than inspection findings.
