Ferndale Early Childhood Center

Is there any office staff? Ive tried calling multiple times with no answer?!? Or return phone calls????

Disappointed. We visited for open house last week and each family before us and the family directly after us were met with an excited "Hello! / Welcome, etc." upon entering the school. As our family entered, there was dead silence.. This may not mean much to others, but as a BIPOC family, this contributed to our decision of not enrolling here as well as other remarks and not so kind facial expression when we entered into the classrooms. We appreciated the few positive engagements though..

We all love FECC! From the sweet gal in the office to the teachers and janitors. Our 4 yo has excelled remarkably since September and she truly adores her teachers. We receive weekly summaries of their lessons, pictures of our child engaged in activities, and we feel so safe with her there. Wish we could stay for more than just one year.

Our twins love their teachers (Ms.Michelle & Ms.Cara) and have learned so much in their year at FECC. During parent-teacher conferences, I was amazed at how thoroughly they track all areas of the kids’ progress throughout the term. They highlighted specific skills that needed improvement and as a working parent, it was really helpful to know what we need to focus on at home. Additionally, we love the daily and weekly updates with pictures that show us what the kids are learning and creating in class. I can confidently say that we feel the education they have received at FECC has more than prepared them to be successful in kindergarten.

I made the biggest mistake of my life enrolling my child here,They mostly pay attention to the children who pay,The supervision is almost non existent and the play more then learn,Please research before enrolling your child here.They did such an awful job that I’m taking my daughter out of the district in its entirety
