We have sent both kids to Little Guppy and have had great experiences with them both. The teachers are attentive, nurturing, and genuinely know each child as an individual. The communication from the staff is excellent. The environment is safe, clean, and the curriculum is designed for little ones to learn and grow. We are so grateful for the teachers and staff and Little Guppy!
Britney CoffeyJun 12, 2026I can't say enough positives about our experience with Little Guppy. We started when my daughter was 11 months old. First, the director and assistant director are amazing to work with. They answer any questions and help along the way. Leslie even gave me tissues on my daughter's first day bc I was crying and incredibly emotional. Another way of showing it isnt just supporting your children. It is also supporting you and your whole family. Second. They truly understand the need for consistent and reliable childcare for households where both parents work outside the home. They are rarely closed. Even with bad weather, they had delayed drop off when almost all other schools closed. The teachers ❤️. Every teacher we have had, our daughter loves. They are amazing with sharing photos and updates throughout the day. I love seeing the activities they are doing each day so I can see what she is learning. And lastly, a huge plus are the meals provided. My daughter gets breakfast w/ milk, lunch with milk, and a snack. It includes fruits and veggies. All provided by Little Guppy and included in your weekly tuition. At first I thought the rates were higher than other centers but once I saw the day to day activities, plus the meals and snacks they provide for that rate, it makes it so worth it. It also takes stress off me for having to meal prep and pack for her. I would highly recommend Little Guppy St. Charles
Marissa SchrinerJun 11, 2026We cannot say enough positive things about Little Guppy. Peace of mind when dropping your kids off for daycare is truly invaluable. It is clear that the teachers care about not just the wellbeing of the students but their development as well. Our son comes home learning new things every day. We love his teachers and we know they love him too!
Samantha DeanMar 31, 2026This will probably be long, but why shouldn’t it be? Parents want the best for their kids. TLDR: fantastic center, highly recommend. We have had our now 11 month old and 2-3/4 year old here for 6 months after leaving an in home sitter (who was great, but developed health complications). We were apprehensive but I did a ton of research on daycare centers in the area checking back through years of state inspections (publicly available online btw), talking to local parents, and scrounging up opinions on several neighborhoods Facebook pages. My mom’s family ran a daycare center for decades and when she read through my research of Little Guppy in St. Charles she was impressed by the amount of positive reviews and small amount of negative reviews across all sources (particularly the state inspections!). Even though we have only been here 6 months, the staff has been really consistent for a center. Our 11 month old recently switched rooms to a “bigger kid” room and whenever she sees her teachers new or old she gets visibly happy smiling and putting her arms up and trying to dive out of my hands to get to them. Nearly all teachers here, regardless of age they teach, know her by name. Our 2-3/4 year old has received incredible assistance on her potty training journey. We just recently claimed her as “fully potty trained” within 2 months of starting - and it would have been sooner had we asked her teachers for help sooner, they have been such an incredible help!! She comes home singing songs we have never taught her, loves talking to us about weather that we have never taught her, talks about having fun with her friends. She knows tons of shapes, colors, can count to 20, can sing her ABCs, etc. They post daily activities in an app to show what they’re up to and do an incredible amount of unique things from foot/scooter races, group and solo art sessions (one time where they put long paper on the floor and had them step in paint and walk on the paper, how cool and such a unique sensory experience), they work on throwing skills sometimes in creative ways, get energy out with 1-on-1 trampoline time, trips to their in school library for kid “reading” time (the teachers read to the kids plenty in their own room, this is time for the kids themselves to pick books and explore them individually which I love), and so much more. See attached images, photos chosen to be exclusively my child - they’re also great about not showing pictures of your little one if you want that. These photos are all within a couple days at school, I’m not going back weeks to find the best ones. Our child’s confidence has grown a lot, she says hi to so many more people now, she loves trying new things, etc. With the change of the year, they shifted teachers around (a big need for staff sanity I’m sure). Of course, I was apprehensive, but they’re all great. Just the other day one of my 2-3/4 year old’s previous teachers walked out of a room and my kid took off and ran to give her a hug. What more do you need to know your kid is comfortable and growing? Last thing kid related, our 2-3/4 has Celiac Disease which is an autoimmune disorder where she cannot have even trace amounts of wheat, barely, or rye before getting sick. We honestly thought she would have gotten “glutened” all the time coming here but we have only had one very minor incident. Granted we pack her snacks and lunch at home (a center can’t accommodate in-center prepared food for all possible varieties of allergens, don’t expect them to) but have been extremely happy with their handling of food related issues. They publish their monthly food menu, so we just match what they give out as closely as possible so our daughter doesn’t feel so different. Even non food related, our kid can’t have playdoh, can’t do “macaroni” art, or anything that uses flour. They have accommodated for all of that wonderfully as well (of course, we provide them with the alternates she is able to play with). Also shout out front office staff, you’re great too!
Kevin KemperMar 18, 2026Our daughter has been attending Little Guppy since she was 12 months old after a very hectic in home care situation. We were so lucky they had an opening for her when we needed it most. From the very beginning, the team has been incredibly loving and supportive. It is clear they truly care about the children, and we have seen our daughter grow and thrive with their guidance and encouragement. The entire staff are wonderful communicators. We always feel informed, reassured, and included in her day to day experience. We are so grateful for the care they provide and would highly recommend Little Guppy to any family looking for a nurturing and supportive environment.
Kara JonesFeb 27, 2026All three of my kiddos have attended Guppy and I cannot recommend Leslie and the rest of the center enough. The staff is wonderful and classrooms have tons of activities and resources for the children. My oldest attended from 19 months until she went to kindergarten. She has the best memories of Guppy and truly prepared her very well for elementary. My toddler and baby currently attend Guppy. We appreciate the love and care they provide for our babies!
