  • Our daughter attended LHLC from 3 months old to 3.5 years old. She wakes up so excited to go each day! She has even been disappointed on days they close for professional development. When she was in the 1-2 year old room, there was a biter in the class but the director kept up informed each time and even reviewed video footage to verify what had occurred. The issue resolved in a couple of weeks. Other than that, our experience has been great. She has loved every teacher! One thing I love as a parent is that every day at drop off and pick up, every single teacher/staff member that passes us in the hallway says hello to our daughter by name. It's comforting knowing that your child isn't just another kid in the building. It's a community that is genuinly happy to see your child each day.

  • Compared to many licensed childcare centers in the area, Little Hills has a documented pattern of substantiated violations directly related to child safety, including supervision failures, playground containment issues, hazardous classroom conditions, and background screening lapses. These are not minor administrative findings and raise reasonable concerns about overall safety practices. Our son attended Little Hills from August through January. During that time, we personally observed behaviors that made us uncomfortable, including children not being allowed to use the restroom when needed when outside due to teachers not having walkie talkies so having to wait for another teacher to come outside to take a kid to the restroom. Our son was not a fan of the school as he went part time, and while it was a difficult decision to remove him mid-year, we believe he will ultimately not be negatively affected by the transition. What was most disappointing was how our family was treated by leadership. The director Kristin’s communication with us during a situation that could have been resolved with reasonable time and dialogue felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Instead of giving us reasonable time to fix a situation she gave us 2 business days. After multiple emails back and forth I let her know that’s not showing compassion for our family and goes against the public statements made by the owners online of not wanting to unenroll a child (especially one who had no behavior or other issues just simply a administrative issue that could easily be fixed) This experience did not reflect the respect, compassion, courtesy, or professionalism the owners publicly state they value and show toward families. We truly wanted this to work and did not make the decision lightly. However, between our personal experience and the publicly available licensing history, we felt it was in our child’s best interest to move on before any other situation could arise. (In response to the owners comment: We want to clarify that our concern is not about the existence of a policy, but how this situation was handled and publicly communicated. Sharing or implying details about a child’s private health status in a public forum is inappropriate and not fully truthful. Our son attended for several months without issue, which makes the sudden timeline and enforcement confusing. We were not given a month to resolve anything — we were given two days, despite being compliant with Missouri vaccination requirements and actively communicating in good faith. Our review reflects our experience with communication and treatment, not a disagreement over policy. Families deserve clarity, consistency, and respect when situations like this arise)

  • I recently visited Little Hills Preschool and left with a very positive impression. The environment is warm, well-organized, and truly designed with young children in mind. The classrooms were bright and filled with engaging learning materials, and the children appeared happy, comfortable, and actively involved in their activities. One aspect that especially stood out to me was the sense of inclusivity and respect for diverse cultures and ethnicities. It was clear that the school values every child’s background and fosters an environment where all families feel welcome and represented — something I deeply appreciate. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s well-being and development. The outdoor play area was safe, clean, and provided wonderful space for exploration and creativity. Overall, Little Hills Preschool offers a nurturing, inclusive, and enriching start for young learners. I would confidently recommend it to families seeking a supportive and culturally respectful early education setting.

  • We absolutely loved our experience at LHLC. From the start, they were very communicative and made us feel included in our kids’ day. We received daily updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. The teachers were wonderful, caring, patient, and truly invested in our children’s growth. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The daycare also went above and beyond with special events like a Fourth of July parade, which made the experience even more fun and memorable for our kids. Our daughter attended from ages 1 to 4, and she thrived here socially, emotionally, and academically. We are very grateful for the time our kids spent at LHLC. It is a place where children are genuinely cared for and families are supported. Highly recommend!

  • Our daughter absolutely loves Little Hills Learning Center! I can’t say enough good things about the facility. The staff is so friendly and reliable, I never feel anxious or worried whenever I drop her off. The food is nutritious and the building is clean. The ProCare app keeps us updated on everything she does throughout the day. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone and have had an amazing overall experience there!

  • Our son has attended LHLC for the last 18 months, and while there have been a few minor bumps in the road along the way, we couldn't be happier with the care he receives here. The infant room and toddler room have both been great, and the staff truly care about your child and their wellbeing. Another nice thing about LHLC is that all of the staff members seem to know (at least by name) every kid, so it feels like a welcoming environment every day. When we have had any concerns or questions, we have been able to bring them up to the teacher(s) and, in some cases, the director, and each time, have come away from those conversations with continued comfort of sending our son to LHLC.
