This preschool is amazing! Both our boys started in the middle group. The teachers were always very attentive and caring. The group size is relatively small, which is great benefit. The boys love going there because the teachers are genuinely interested in making sure that they have a good time. We were very surprised how naturally they picked up Chinese and were singing along different tunes. The teachers made sure this is always a game and was never forced. Before kindergarten our older son started to read and write in Chinese. I would highly recommend it to anyone as an outstanding choice to give your kids the ability to learn other languages!
Miklós LengyelFeb 2, 2026All three of our kids absolutely love LSCIP (they are currently ages 4, 3, and 2). They each started at LSCIP at 18 months of age and it is not just their second home, it is their home away from home. Not only are they all fluent in Chinese, they absolutely love the language and embrace diversity amongst their classmates (surprisingly a majority of the children are non-Asian). LSCIP has a structured daily curriculum and our kids thrive in their academic environment with engaging and hands-on lesson plans with a different theme each week. The teachers conversate with the children in both English and Chinese. The middle and upper grade levels have a more traditional classroom environment but the kids still have opportunities for hands-on and individualized learning. More impressive than LSCIP's strong academic curriculum is the adaptive and nurturing environment the teachers create for the children. It is amazing the teachers provide individualized care to the children because our kids absolutely adore all the teachers, they feel loved, safe, cared for, and most importantly, seen. The teachers know each of the children every well. They treat our children like their own and they communicate with us parents to celebrate their successes as well as share collaborative conversations to help our kids thrive and be happy both at home and school. Our kids want to go to school and tears are very rare at drop-offs, they leave me without looking back and confidently stroll into their classrooms. The school headmaster, Olivia, works very hard to ensure both teachers and students are taken care of. Thus, LSCIP is a very joyful, inclusive, and loving community. When our youngest child started going to LSCIP, I noticed all three kids play better together at home and my oldest child actually wants to be an older sister to her young siblings. LSCIP does a fantastic and miraculous job encouraging the children to care for each other in addition to making wonderful friendships amongst themselves. Our children can easily name their classmates' names because they always ask for playdates together after school! We dont live near LSCIP and we happily make the effort to commute to LSCIP daily to give our children a preschool education you cant easily find in Saint Louis: the gift of bilingualism (or multilingual if your family is lucky to have more than two languages!) in a structured classroom environment. More important than the education is the level of care and love the LSCIP teachers give to the children. At the end of the day, if my kids are happy and have friends and teachers they feel safe to be with, that is priceless. LSCIP is not a daycare, it is a school and it is also a home where our children feel safe and loved.
Linda Nguyen DuDec 5, 2025Little Sprouts has been an amazing environment for my child, who started at just under 2 years old and looks forward to every day at school! The teachers are incredibly kind and talented- we have seen an awesome transformation in just a few months, both in social skills and language. The curriculum is fun and educational and keeps my energetic child engaged with songs and movement and creative projects. We are so grateful to have found Little Sprouts!
Martha BassDec 3, 2025We love Little Sprouts and it is truly a hidden gem. Our oldest started in the smallest class and now will be graduating soon. She is essentially fluent in Mandarin and often teaches my wife, who also speaks Mandarin, some words and phrases. Our youngest just started and looks forward to each day there. The teachers are of the highest caliber and do a phenomenal job engaging the kids in creative learning activities. Most importantly, it is very evident that they love and care for the kids as if they are their own. They also do a great job in communicating with the parents. Olivia, the owner, is very caring, approachable and listens any concerns the parents may have. We are grateful for Little Sprouts and would recommend it to anyone looking for a diverse and enriching pre-school experience for their young ones.
