We've had an exceptional experience with the daycare. Mary Grace, and Anna, our teachers, are not only friendly but also laid back, creating a warm environment for our daughter. The front desk staff Ana and Sarah are welcoming, and the teacher's aids Susan, Ronela, and Rosemarie are equally friendly. The variety of activities, like dance classes, and the lunch food make it a delightful experience. Outdoor playtime is a highlight, keeping the children active. Overall, we're thrilled with the caring and positive atmosphere at the daycare.
Lauren IovaldiFeb 21, 2024We have sent two of our children to the Villa during the past 5 years, and will send our youngest when she is old enough. The staff and teachers truly care about the children, and the school handled COVID issues delicately and appropriately. We are so blessed to have the Villa in our neighborhood.
Rachel KylloSep 23, 2023This was our child’s first day at the school and it was a terrible experience. We were originally told we would be able to walk our children to their classroom. We even had to pay for my husband and myself to have a background check done on us and take a training class to be able to be allowed into the classroom. We paid the fee and took the training courses, only to find out today, the first day of school, we were not allowed to go to the classroom and we were to drop our toddler off in a community play area where there were well over 40 children ranging in ages 2-6. There were not enough adults in the area for the amount of children, no one to comfort my child as I left, it was complete chaos. As I left, another small toddler followed me to the door. There were no staff there to grab the child and the child could have easily walked out the front door with me without anyone knowing. Because, again, no one knows who belongs to what parent since everyone is in the same huge room and entry way. Luckily, there was another mom there that recognized the child and walked him back into the chaotic community space. There are so many red flags with this school that I ignored because we had heard it was a great school. However, after talking with parents outside today, there were parents who have had their children enrolled in previous years and said is a new director this year. Unfortunately it sounds like the years prior, the school was wonderful but changes being implemented by the new director seem to be upsetting parents who have been there for years and their concerns have been ignored by the new director. Many stated they would be looking to pull their children from the school. I didn’t get to meet my son’s teacher, walk him to his classroom, nothing. I also have no way of getting ahold of my son’s teacher during the day because their online portal is still not working. All in all, I’m very concerned with not only the safety of my child while attending this school, but with leadership of this school as they seem unfamiliar with how to run an early education school. I wish I would have listened to my gut with the first red flag I saw. Leaving my son in the middle of an open space as he cried without anyone to comfort him is unacceptable and I will be looking to send him elsewhere. Please be warned before considering this school. What you are told is not at all what you get.
