This breaks my heart because we loved little people's for so long and were very happy there unti 2 weeks ago. My daughter who has gone to this care since she was 9 weeks old has been included and treated wonderful. Until this summer when she was going to be in schoolagers area. I walked in to that daycare and for the first time over 7 years it was clear my daughter wasn't wanted by the ladies in the schoolagers room. No hello to my daughter who they haven't seen in a year. One worker didnt even speak to us or look up from her desk on her phone. When I spoke to the other worker in schoolerager room. She informed me that they have 18-22 kids in the schoolagers so they are worried about her running off and the Dont WANT to be responsible for my daughter running off. I spoke to the owner and she imformed me that that is correct. EXCUSE me....to be responsible for my daughter's safety to watch and care for her??? Its a daycare and thatis what they are paid for. So how can I leave my 7 year daughter there with the owner saying The woman taking care my girl dont want to do their jobs with my daughter. I guess it might be because she is the only kid ever to get up from a table a want to run or the only to not listen to an adult. It has to be thst right because what else is different about my daughter. Oh yea I failed to mentioned she has Down Syndrome. Missed 3 days worth of work because we hsve no other care for her at that time. I was anger and sad at this post.

I dropped by a few months ago asking if there was any availability for my 2 year old and the receptionist told me there aren’t any openings until August 2026. I’ve worked in childcare before and some centers do things a little differently, but most at least have a waiting list. The receptionist didn’t offer to take my info in case they have any openings before 2026 or provide me with any other details. It was just odd that every other center I visited took my info or told me they would contact me if anything changed (if they didn’t have space available at the time). I’m not telling anyone how to run their business, but if you tell someone you’re full a year in advance it kind of looks as if you don’t want that particular person’s business regardless.

Best daycare ever! They also have after schoolers come. I "was" one of them. But I had to leave bc I'm now in 6th grade and they don't pick up there!! But, my mom works there!! I'm gonna miss, miss.kendra she's the best teacher ever. And I'll miss, miss.ebony! ❤stop writing bad reviews About them!!!!! None of that had ever happened, this is top #1 daycare in all of southaven. So proud to be one of there after schoolers. Been there since 2023/november. I love them sm. 5 stars!!!! Best ever. Best daycare in the area! Highly recommend you bring your kids. They are very attentive to the kids and always have fun activities. The daycare is safe, friendly, and accommodating.

My child was told by another child that she could not play a game with some kids playing b/c “the game was for white girls only.” I was not notified of this until my child came home and told me; although the other parent was notified. I spoke to Susan, the manager about the situation b/c that was a very hurtful comment especially coming from a young child. In addition to the deep roots of racism/ discrimination in history of the south. Her reply was “kids are mean” and “do I expect her to call a parent whenever a ‘kid says to another kid, I don’t want to play with you b/c I don’t like the color of your shirt’.” I was beyond stunned and completely lost my train of thought. My child only attend this place for a week and this happened on a Friday. My guess is Susan, the manager will have to be born nonwhite to understand what exclusion at a young age b/c of skin color means.
