  • Many of the positive reviews came from parents who were offered a discounted week of tuition to write them, and some of the negative reviews? There’s some truth behind those. The teacher turnover is nonstop for a reason, and the way everyone scrambles the second the state license walks in says everything about management and how they run the daycare.

  • We are so thankful for Apple Blossoms Daycare. Our son has been there since he was just 8 months old and it has truly become a second home for him. The love, care, and attention he has received over the years have helped him thrive in every way. The teachers are wonderful at keeping us updated and communication has always been easy and reassuring. Our son has grown so much academically and socially. He has developed a strong love for exploring books and writing, and his confidence continues to shine. We especially appreciate the emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. He comes home excited to share what he has learned and experienced each day. Potty training was also such a smooth process thanks to the patient and supportive staff who worked with us every step of the way. Field trips and frequent guest readers makes him excited to go back to school each day and helps him apply what he has learned to real life experiences. We could not be happier with the foundation Apple Blossoms has given our son. It is clear how much the teachers care about the children and their growth. We feel so lucky to be part of this community and highly recommend it to other families.

  • Our family has had nothing but the best experience at Apple Blossoms since our twin started attending at just four months old. Choosing childcare is such an important decision, and while every family’s experience is different, we are fortunate that ours has been nothing short of outstanding. Apple Blossoms has been an incredible partner in our children’s growth. Over the years, we have watched our daughters thrive in ways that amaze us—growing in manners, responsibility, independence, vocabulary, communication, and overall positive behavior both at school and at home. Each teacher we’ve had the pleasure of working with has treated our girls with warmth, respect, and the kind of care you would hope for in a childcare setting. As twins, they’ve also been celebrated as individuals with their own cubbies, folders, and needs. They have never been treated as a “unit,” but as two unique children whose differences are embraced and nurtured. The discipline and structure at Apple Blossoms have been exceptional. Our girls are great listeners, follow directions well, and when told “no,” they don’t tantrum but instead move on respectfully. These are skills that will serve them for life. They are also excellent eaters, make smart food choices, and benefit from the movement and outdoor play that is prioritized whenever the weather is safe. I especially appreciate the emphasis on fresh air, something I hope will mean even more snow play opportunities now that they are more independent. Academically, they have exceeded our expectations. After their very first month of Pre-K, they are already on the fast track to word identification and reading. Educators outside of Apple Blossoms have commented on how advanced their writing, spatial awareness, color use, and artwork are compared to typical kindergarten and even first-grade levels. Potty training was also a very positive experience for our family. After a short three-day introduction method at home, the classroom team was more than willing to adopt our practices. Both of our girls were completely potty trained in their early twos, and the school respected our choice to use pull-ups only at nap time, which made the transition between home and school seamless. Communication has been a strong point since the very beginning. When it comes to matters specifically related to our children, teachers have always been proactive and thoughtful in keeping us informed. Those one-on-one updates at drop-off and pick-up have given us confidence and peace of mind from the infant room through Pre-K. We personally value the face-to-face interactions we receive most of all. While the app is useful for quick notes, we don’t expect teachers to be tied to their phones during the day while they are educating our children and we truly appreciate the personal updates we receive in conversation. We also encourage our daughters to share the “peaks and valleys” of their day, which helps us follow up thoughtfully if needed— though, more often than not, they only report happy experiences aside from the occasional playground dispute. What has improved over time is the broader communication around classroom or school-wide changes and updates, which feels clearer and more consistent now than in earlier years. The program also recognizes holidays, cultural observances, and disability awareness days, making learning both educational and fun while fostering inclusion. Activities have been age-appropriate yet enriching, from classroom lessons to nature walks and field trips. Finally, the convenience of Apple Blossoms cannot be overstated. Their extended hours (6:30 AM–5:30 PM) are a lifeline for public service families like ours, and their commitment to staying open during inclement weather whenever safely possible shows their dedication to supporting essential workers. We are truly grateful for the foundation Apple Blossoms has built for our daughters. From academics to social development, independence, and beyond, they are thriving. We recommend Apple Blossoms without reservation.

  • I think everyone has their own experience- Ours has been amazing. Our daughter is thriving and loves all of her teachers. The owner has worked with us in a few different ways which we truly appreciate. The bond that she has made with a few people there have been such a blessing. We love the activities, outdoor play and care that we've experienced.

  • Apple Blossom daycare is definitely not a good daycare for your child girl or a boy unless they just sit there. The teachers do not pay attention so they are constantly hitting each other and getting kicked out and you are still going to pay every day that they get kicked out and only were there for an hour. Their excuse will always be The kids are hitting so if the kids are hitting, why don’t you stop them before they start hitting each other as soon as you bring that up they will dismiss your child for good. I have noticed a lot of daycare’s do the same because they know they can just replace your kid until they find a kid that just sits there and does nothing. It is very sad. You’re hoping to find a daycare while you are at work that will watch your kid and teach him. This is not the case.

  • TL:DR version: Apple Blossoms is not the place for parents who value their child’s early education and basic care. The center leadership is dismissive, passive aggressive, and vindictive. Our daughter (3) had been with Apple Blossoms since 16 weeks old, and we planned to enroll our newest baby when we returned to work, until we started to experience management, hygiene, and safety concerns. Our daughter was bounced around classrooms for months due to “staffing,” and we noticed troubling behaviors at home (hitting, biting, throwing). With a new baby, we passed some of it off as adjusting. However, it became clear that whatever was happening at Apple Blossoms was directly affecting her behavior at home. We reached out to the director and expressed concerns with the constant moving between classes (one+ days a week) sharing behavior at home had been challenging. Instead of acknowledging the reality of what was happening inside her center, the director said it was only “occasional” that our daughter was moved. I requested notice when she was going to be in a different classroom or to have her moved to the next room permanently, but neither of those requests were granted. Shortly after that, we experienced what I can only describe as the neglect of my child’s care. On the first incident, I picked her up and walked into a room reeking of feces. The culprit was our daughter’s diaper, which had been soiled for an unknown amount of time while she was in the care of the assistant director. Due to the director’s dismissive, somewhat unprofessional responses to our initial concerns in the weeks prior, we did not reach out to express our displeasure. We hoped this was one a one-time incident. It was not. A week later, I was helping my daughter use the bathroom when we got home and found poop on the OUTSIDE of her pull up and inside of her jeans and shirt. However, there was no poop in her pull up but some between her butt cheeks. It appeared as though someone had removed a dirty pull up and put on a new one without attending to her hygiene. The next day at pick up, our daughter’s jeans were soaked through. Once at home, we discovered there was no underwear, pull up, nor diaper under her jeans. I immediately sent a message to the staff through the app asking for an explanation. SILENCE. When they closed for snow the next morning, I sent another message asking for information since no one had even acknowledged my message from the night before. The director said she was aware and would get back to me. Her response a few hours later stated that the staff THOUGHT our daughter MAY have taken off her pull up and thrown it away. Our daughter, in fact, could not pull her pants up by herself at this time, so unless she and another child were in the bathroom together completely unsupervised, this was impossible. When we expressed our displeasure that the staff seemingly did not know our daughter was in the bathroom nor ensured she had been helped cleaning up once finished (in her first week of potty training no less), the director told us she expected us to “have compassion and understanding” for her staffing issues. In her responses she showed little to no concern for our daughter’s wellbeing, but felt it prudent to tell us how we should act when this was now the third incident in less than two weeks. Given that the director seemed content with her staff neglecting children’s care, I filed a report with the state licensing board. On the Friday the state representative visited Apple Blossoms, we received an email stating that our daughters care was terminated immediately, citing that they felt they could “no longer continue this relationship in a positive and considerate way,” while taking no responsibility for the lack of concern or care on their part. My daughter did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to her classmates, and we were left without care on a Friday. Apple Blossoms may say they care about children and growing young minds, but in our experience, that is the furthest thing from the truth.
