Recent parent reviews

  • Like another parent mentioned, I moved my child here believing it would be a better option, but unfortunately, I was wrong. After agreeing to keep my child’s milk bottles refrigerated (which I believe is a basic health and safety expectation), they were instead left out all day without my knowledge. As a result, my child may have been drinking spoiled milk for an extended period of time until a teacher, Tania, accidentally revealed what was happening. It makes me wonder whether other children’s food and drinks that require refrigeration are also being left out. My child did get sick and it took a very long time to recover, which is very unusual for him. When I raised concerns, I felt intimidated rather than heard. Any issue I brought forward seemed to be met with resistance and (either immediately or soon after) information that had been collected to use against me if necessary. I have documentation of these interactions. In my experience here, parents who voice concerns are not treated with the respect and transparency they deserve. In addition, I encountered rudeness from both administrative staff and a teacher from the very first day. My child also suffered the most serious injury he has ever experienced while in their care. During a meeting with the CPSE director, when the injury was supposed to be discussed, the teacher and supervisor, Cahill, spoke over me, making it difficult to address the matter fully. Later they gave excuses for that action but it didn’t make any sense. In fact, none of the excuses given made any sense. During CPSE meetings I’d catch school teacher and principal rolling their eyes and smirking while I spoke about my child’s difficulties and my challenges with the school. My attorney didn’t get to be in those meetings but told me it could have been very different if they were present. Ultimately, I lost all trust in the program and felt I had no choice but to withdraw my child as quickly as possible.

  • My son has excelled at this location in the year and a half that he’s been here. The teachers and therapists have been lovely, attentive, and gave regular feedback through class dojo too! I received a lot of support and advice on how to help from home and my son completely transformed. He went in quiet as a mouse and delayed and he came out talking like a parrot so advanced they had to move him up. Quick response time to emails from admin too! Communication means a lot to me! Wish I had learned about them sooner! My son had Speech, OT and was in a 12:1:2 class style. Shout out to Ms. Fonseca. ❤️
