  • The Shames JCC is a vibrant, energized gift to the community. The staff is at the forefront of offerings to support their members. I love going to the J. I have made amazing friends and I value being a member.

  • This is a wonderful community center that welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds. The staff and teachers are excellent, friendly, informed, and welcoming to all. The members are friendly, too, and the vibe at the center is one of positivity, laughter, and inclusion. There are lots of fabulous opportunities to socialize as they organize eating out dates, Broadway and other show dates, special speaker/craft classes, book clubs, mah jong, dances, movies, and occasional musical outings. The fitness opportunities are fantastic. I take lots of classes here, including aqua classes, swimming lessons, spinning, yoga, strength training, MELT, personal training, and more. The trainers are A+ and spend time helping us all get fit. It is truly a home away from home for me!
