  We have had an amazing experience at Transfiguration Parish School. My daughter has been attending for the past three years, and the level of care, dedication, and passion from the staff is truly exceptional. The teachers go above and beyond, treating every child with kindness and respect. The environment is warm and welcoming—you can genuinely feel the love and faith as soon as you walk in. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our daughter is growing in a place that nurtures both her education and her values. Academically, we’ve been very impressed. The kindergartners are already performing at a first-grade level—writing sentences independently and reading with confidence. It’s clear that the school sets high standards while making learning engaging and meaningful. My daughter has also grown so much as a person. She has become more nurturing, caring, and compassionate, which reflects the strong values the school instills. We are truly grateful to all the staff at Transfiguration Parish School for the incredible work they do every day. We are sad to leave this year, as the school only goes from Pre-K 3 through Kindergarten, but we will always cherish the beautiful foundation they have given our daughter.

  The Transfiguration PreK program has been a wonderful experience for our children. The staff cares deeply about the students and the environment is nurturing and exciting. Our three year old's have experienced a tremendous amount of growth both socially and intellectually since they began in the program - and they wake up every day excited to get to school! The communication between the school and the parents is informative, efficient, and direct. And the hours & aftercare options are also a huge positive for working parents. Our kids rarely want to leave aftercare when we arrive to get them - they want to keep playing with their friends or finish their latest art project! We love that the school offers special activities for the children including soccer, cooking classes, Greenburgh Nature Center, & science activities. There is also a wonderful music program that our children adore. They learn new songs and love teaching them to us when they get home. Anyone looking for a safe and caring PreK program with a focus on faith based education should definitely consider Transfiguration. Father Francis and his staff have put together a special environment of learning and fun and we are thankful to be a part of it.

  We’ve had a wonderful experience with Transfiguration Parish School's Pre-K program!   Transfiguration is a wonderful school. I currently have a daughter in Pre-K 4 who is thriving and loving it! She looks forward to all of the fun extracurricular activities provided and loves her friends and teachers. The staff is wonderful, nurturing, and responsive. Ms. Aura and Ms. LeeAnn go above and beyond. They give such wonderful individualized attention to all the children my daughter really appreciates that. The nurse is the sweetest lady you will ever meet, just great wonderful people that make you feel and happy and safe. Both of my daughters had the privilege of attending Transfig, learned so much and really are ahead of the game compared to other children their ages. I’m so grateful for this wonderful school and parish community. Father Francis is also great with the children - he knows them all by name and the children learn so much! Nothing but the best!!
