  • Our third grader has been attending Irvington Children’s Center (or “ICC” as we all refer to it) since Kindergarten. It is a magical, special place and has been for him all four years. There are rooms devoted to specialized play and crafts, a room is used for homework, and the children spend a LOT of time playing outside. The staff, led by the greatest after-school administrator of all-time, Susan Daly, is EXCELLENT, caring, funny, loving, and attentive. We will be heartbroken when our son ages out (I am tearing up right now as I type this!). He has made best friendships out of the group of kids who attend and I look forward to watching what started at ICC carry on through high school. I just read what I wrote and it all sounds a bit EXTRA, as the middle school kids say, but it really is all true.
