*warning for all parents* Enrolling my child here was the worst decision I’ve made. The staff are hostile, and their communication is absolutely terrible. If your child isn’t 100% meeting every milestone immediately, they are quick to label and judge, which is incredibly harmful. My child was so unhappy here, and it broke my heart. The moment we switched him to a different daycare, he completely changed—he’s so much happier and thriving now. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You want a place that will help your child grow and nurture them. This is not that place.
Ronika SethiJan 28, 2025My child started at Little Playhouse at 10 months old for their summer program and just began with the school year program. We are Extremely satisfied with The Little Playhouse’s care of her, the communication with teachers and director, activities at the school, conditions of the facility, flexibility of schedule and overall ease of tuition, registration, dropoff and pick up. We even receive a detailed written “report card” of feedings, naps, diapers and her mood each day. My child is thriving, learning and happy to go which is all I ever hoped for full-time daycare! Extremely grateful to have found such a quality care system for my little one.
Katie CalleoSep 10, 2024We have had a wonderful experience at The Little Playhouse. My son started there over a year ago and absolutely loves going to school every day. All members of the staff have been amazing. They do an excellent job of communicating not just issues, but also the successes my children have no matter how big or small. The teachers, teachers aids and the center director have been more than happy to discuss my children’s progress and have helped to ensure that they are flourishing in the environment. We were so happy with the experience my son was having that we decided to start my daughter earlier than planned so that she could reap the benefits of their program from an even younger age. We absolutely love it there!
Teresa McCormickMay 7, 2024After abruptly leaving our last daycare we were back at square one. Luckily, we found Little Playhouse. It is a clean facility and well maintained. There is a beautiful playground outside and an adorable little indoor town downstairs. My daughter enters and exits everyday with a smile and that’s what it’s all about. She adores her teacher who has taken the time to really make learning fun through various activities and experiments. There’s always a fun celebration happening and students are taught responsibility through their classroom jobs. So far so good :)
Erin WoodsMay 7, 2024I highly recommend The Little Playhouse. My daughter has special needs, Janice and her team were very attentive. The teachers are warm and loving . The school provides creative curriculum that allowed my daughter to learn and thrive. When it came time for kindergarten she was very prepared. The facility is beautiful and clean. I found the communications with the the whole team to be very clear and supportive. Everything you could want in a preschool !
Lana I KentMar 10, 2023My daughter is in Miss Heathers 3 year old class and she is learning so much! I am so happy we chose The Little Playhouse. I did a lot of research and went to a lot of school and determined that this was the best school with a great curriculum and program. My daughter comes home everyday sharing with me all the wonderful cool things they did in class. This is not a play you drop your child off and they just get babysat, they learn in the most fun and creative way. On top of that, the program leader Janice is an amazing individual. Everything, all the communication is done through here, she works on a call/text level and it makes life so much easier, and she is very responsive and informative. When our son is ready we are going to enroll him. I could go on about how amazing the program and facility is. I feel safe knowing my daughter is with incredible teachers and staff members.

- Yes. Little Playhouse holds New York registration 833131, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on November 21, 2024 and current through November 20, 2028. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.
What kind of child care is Little Playhouse?

Does this page show inspection results for Little Playhouse?
- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Little Playhouse's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
