  We are so grateful for the love and care our daughter has received here since she was 6 months old. The best feeling is seeing how excited she gets every morning when her teachers open the door. Seeing her happily go to them gives us so much peace of mind knowing she feels safe, loved, and genuinely enjoys being there. The facility is always clean, bright, and welcoming, and we love seeing all the different activities and toys she gets to explore throughout the day. It's been wonderful watching her learn, grow, and gain confidence in such a nurturing environment. Communication through the app has always been excellent—we really appreciate the timely updates, photos, and messages throughout the day that help us feel connected while we're working. We couldn't have asked for a better daycare for our daughter, especially at the earliest stages, and we're incredibly thankful to the entire team. We highly recommend them to any family looking for a caring and trustworthy place for their child.

  The staff is truly amazing, kind, caring, patient, and dedicated to every child. Knowing our daughter was safe, loved, and happy every day gave us so much peace of mind. They always made sure she got on and off the bus safely, kept her engaged and entertained after school, and treated her like family.   I cannot say enough good things about the care my son has received at Maplewood Day Care. He started attending full-time at 21 weeks old. I was anxious about him starting since I'd been through it before with my older child, who attended a childcare center, and I thought it was normal to have a period of uneasiness as the child settled into care. But I never once have had any anxiety about leaving my son at Maplewood. From the very first meeting, Idealda and her team have been extremely organized, responsive, and thorough. They use the Brightwheel app, which is the best of the daycare apps, in my opinion. Daily updates are frequent and accurate, with lots of photos, and I never send a message in the app that isn't responded to immediately. My son is giddy at drop-off every single day (he loves Ms. Kristie), and even when he was very young, he would coo in the car as we were approaching and kick his legs excitedly at the door. At pickup, his bag is ready, he's ready to go, and I have never once had a bottle left behind or a lost item of clothing. They present him to me at the end of the day like they've spent the best day with him and are sad to see him go. He also frequently smells like the perfume the women wear at pickup, which I don't mind, since it tells me he's been held a lot throughout the day. I trust that he is loved, cared for, and enjoyed. No matter what time I've brought him in, the room is calm, the children are sweet and happy, and I never, ever get the impression that they've had an overwhelming day and are eager to send the kids home, which I have experienced in the past from even our favorite teachers at other daycares. If I have another baby, I will absolutely go the home daycare route over a center, and I'd choose Maplewood again. Home daycare is so much more nurturing, and the level of care is a step above. It's not just any old job to them; you really feel their passion and joy in what they do and the kids they care for. Maplewood is truly a special place.

  Maplewood has been such a breath of fresh air! My 19 mo. daughter has only been here a week, but the difference from our last daycare is huge. No more tears at drop-off, she’s napping longer, not refusing food, and not relying on her pacifier all day. Idealda and Kristie are so kind and attentive, and the photo updates give me such peace of mind. I’m so relieved to have found a place where our girl is happy and thriving! UPDATED 2026: We now have two kids at Maplewood, ages 3 years and 8 months, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. After more than a year here, I can confidently say this daycare has been amazing. Our oldest has continued to thrive, and our youngest, who is a total Velcro baby, happily reaches for her teachers every morning. As a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your children feel safe, loved, and excited to be there. The teachers are genuinely kind, attentive, and caring, and we’ve always felt that our kids are treated like individuals, not just another face in the classroom. We leave every day feeling confident that they’re in great hands. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Maplewood and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, trustworthy daycare.
