  My kid loves the school. She is learning a lot there. She has the play time that she loves it (that is really nice by the way as they have a cover place as well) but at the same time she is learning how to recognize the letters/ write and much more.The team is really amazing and really kind!   We’ve been part of the Safari Kids community for 6 months now. From day one, the staff made our transition incredibly easy and welcoming. The teachers are caring, attentive, and invested in our kids’ development. Our son (4) and daughter (2) absolutely love going to school every day, which gives us so much peace of mind as parents. The environment is safe, clean, and FUN for the kids. We’ve seen tremendous growth in both of our kids socially, emotionally, and academically in such a short amount of time. And the daily pictures they send in the portal! You will love that. Communication with the staff has been excellent, and it’s clear how much pride they take in creating a positive experience for both the children and families. Join! You will not regret it.

  We absolutely love this preschool! From the very first day, Carly at the front desk has been incredibly warm, helpful, and welcoming—she truly sets the tone for the entire school. My son’s teachers are beyond amazing: patient, loving, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. I have complete trust in this team and am so grateful for the care and education my son receives every day. Highly recommend!

  We have nothing but good things to say about Safari Kids. Our son loves his teachers, the whole staff knows him by name, and in the app, the teachers are responsive and keep us updated throughout the day. He has made plenty of friends he talks about constantly. Our son has developed such a huge vocabulary since starting there 6 months ago. At 22 months, he now knows shapes, colors, numbers, and feelings. (He says “happy” all the time now.) He has no issue going to school every morning; he runs straight to his class without even saying goodbye to us. That helps us to trust they’re doing a great job.

  Safari Kid was not a good fit for our two daughters (ages 3 & 4). We had several issues come up during our short time there. While the manager, Carly and the owner, Nancy, initially appeared receptive to our concerns, in the end it was apparent that this was just meant to appease us rather than to truly initiate a positive change or resolve the issues. After ongoing concerns, my husband and I no longer felt comfortable continuing with care.

  We are a long-time Safari Kid Cedar Mill family, with both of our children attending from as young as 5 months old through 4.5 years. We truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this school — it has been such a gift to our family. From day one, we felt our kids were not only safe and cared for, but genuinely loved. Nancy and Carly lead with so much heart, and the entire team of teachers is simply exceptional — warm, dedicated, and incredibly thoughtful in how they nurture each child. Our kids absolutely thrived at Safari Kid, and we’re so grateful for the strong foundation they received here. One of the things we appreciated most was the school’s commitment to keeping kids engaged and active. The extra-special touches — like water play days, seasonal crafts, and daily outside time (even in the rain!) — really made the experience joyful and enriching. And we can’t forget the food! Our kids still talk about “chickpeas and rice day” — they genuinely loved the meals. If you're looking for a preschool or daycare that combines high-quality care with a warm, enriching environment, Safari Kid Cedar Mill is it. We’ll always be grateful for the years we spent there.
