All of the ladies in the infant room, specifically Kayla and Donna were fantastic during my son’s stay there. They were incredibly warm and welcoming to my son, would send pictures everyday and their communication with my wife and I was great as well. Was a pleasure dealing with everybody at the facility.
Joseph McGinnisMay 29, 2026I'm so glad I decided to put my child in Apple Care Child Center. When picking out a school for him to attend for pre-k, I was so nervous and aprehensive about the whole process. I had so many questions like what if they're aren't enough teachers, are they going to teach him anything or will he just play all day as if he's in daycare.. Is there going to be a good mix of race and nationalities within the other children attending (hoping that the school wasn't predominante in any specific race) Well, Apple Child Care Center turned out to be just what I was looking for. A great school, with professional, super friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff/teachers. Also, there is a great mix of all sorts of races/nationalities within the other children attending. Exactly what I wanted. I wanted my child to grow/learn and socialize with children all of kinds of races/nationalities, so he would realize that everyone is the same, no matter their skin color, race or religious beliefs. Most importantly, I feel safe and comfortable leaving the most precious thing in my life with Apple Child Care Center everyday. The teachers truly do care for these kids and are eager to teach them new things and help them grow. I am so impressed with this school. All the staff/teachers are so kind and helpful. If there is anyone who leaves or left a bad review for Apple Child Care, it's definitely not because of the school. It's because they didn't ask the right questions and make sure the answers to them were very clear. For example, "Does my child have to be potty trained to attend here?" So please don't let their negative review have any impact on your decision when choosing a school for your child. Because you'll only end up regretting it.. Thank you Apple Child Care for all of your hard work and dedication to making sure these kids have a great start for their educational future..
Andrea HuckelDec 12, 2025The staff is great and we are comfortable leaving our daughter there for eight or more hours every weekday. The director is attentive and is always willing to communicate. In summation, we are very satisfied with the school.
ChristopherDec 4, 2025Apple Child Care has been nothing but incredible with my one year old son. He’s been enrolled for almost a year now. His teachers are great at updating me and my wife throughout the day. He gets so excited in the morning when he sees his teachers and friends and it makes me feel better knowing he has fun being there. I am very happy with this center.
Mike KushnerockOct 15, 2025For me and my family personally we did not like this daycare at all and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The establishment is poorly run with a lot of lazy individuals in higher positions that don’t communicate well or make changes when issues are brought up. The biggest problem for me was the daycare not taking the kids outside almost never. They have a spacious front courtyard that’s gated so they have the area to take the kids out for outdoor time but rarely make an effort to when by law they have to. There had been multiple weeks when my son and his classmates didn’t go out all week which is absolutely unacceptable! Kids need outdoor time especially when they are in your care for 6 or 7 hours, there’s no way they should be inside all day for that length of time. They had things like outdoor water play every Tuesday but some weeks they would cancel it because it was “To hot” outside or there was an issue with the splash pad or hose etc etc. News flash in the summer it’s hot everyday this is nothing new isn’t that the whole purpose of being outside in the water? Theres been times I picked my son up and the teachers had the kids watching shows on there phone or tablet which is absolutely unacceptable! I don’t pay money for you guys to have my son starring at a screen under your supervision, I could keep him home and not waste my money for all that. Lastly because I could go on and on my sons classroom was not very vibrant floors were dirty and sticky I know them rugs in there weren’t getting clean and toys just raggedy with no organization. My son no longer goes here thank God and we have found ourselves a wayyyyy better school🙏🏿😁
Imeir SimmonsAug 31, 2025My 1 year old son was being picked on by another child, he was pushed on the floor and hit his head multiple times for a week straight and bobody ever called me or my wife to tell us. Until the great girls that do work there found out about it and called us. I pulled him out of there. If your child falls, or gets hurt they're supposed to tell you but if another kid is causing issues they don't have to tell you? I was extremely happy with them until that happened but that is a major issue.

Questions parents ask about APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER
Is APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 102881247-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to November 5, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 28, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects APPLE CHILD CARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
