The best day care ever!!! Iam a foster parent and they get my kiddos in right away work with my schedule and my sons school schedule Mr AJ is definitely the best and they are understanding being a foster parent is hard and my kid have some trust issues but my oldest son loves it there and fits in perfect they teach the kids… I wouldn’t change this for the world my youngest foster son tells his teacher that he misses her every day… he calls it school lol… definitely missing out if ur kids don’t go here
tiffany youngJul 23, 2025Creative kids is an amazing center and the staff and teachers are fantastic! They are caring and understanding and my child loves going there everyday! She has grown tremendously since she started a few years ago. I would recommend Creative Kids to anyone looking for a great daycare center in Dover!
Jaime NessSep 12, 2024First off I would like to debunk some of the past/recent reviews. My son has been attending Creative Kids Daycare for the past 2 years and not once have I ever heard any of the workers curse or be rude to one another or towards the kids either. In all honesty they are all wonderful to work with our young children while we are able to go to work. I couldn't do the job as a daycare employee as it takes a special kind of person and these employees are darn good ones! As for the bologna sandwiches everyday. I know for a fact that is not true as when my son comes home he sometimes has red sauce on his shirt which means he ate some type of spaghetti. I know if you ask them they will tell you the monthly lunch plan and if you know your child doesn't like something on it all you have to do is talk to them. Now about the hand foot and mouth outbreak, What Outbreak? If there was an outbreak I believe my son would have gotten it and he never came home with that. When he first started he had an occasional cold but that makes complete sense to me as little kids don't understand germs and the adults are doing the best they can to keep them washing their hands. They even have hand washing stations that I have seen being used by the Littles when I drop off my kiddo. My son loved it there. He is happy to come to the daycare and enjoys saying good bye to all of the employees and teachers before he leaves. He LOVES their outdoor play area and the toy selection that they have inside. They do their best with potty training help. I'm just happy to see them get my kiddo to sit and try to pee on the potty while he is there as it helps me continue to teach him at home. I'm upset by the other reviews because I know if you communicate what you want for your child to the director or other teachers they will work with you. They care about the well being of my child as for all the children that attend. They know my son by name when he enters the front doors. Not just one teacher but all of them and that means a lot to me to know they love my kid as much as I do. So if you read those other reviews please take mine to heart, they care about the kids and if someone is asked to be dismissed that's because they care about safety. I'm sorry those other moms may not have had a good experience but I really doubt they were being honest. I trust this daycare or I wouldn't be giving them a good review. I would also like to add they are wonderful teachers. My son has learned so much since starting. He can count his numbers, say his ABCs and surprises me with what he has learned everyday. I am so impressed with this daycare!
Melinda LappSep 12, 2024Where to start… My family has been part of this family for about 16 years and 5 children later we are still part of the family! (my oldest will be 21) After another Dover daycare kicked my child out for behavior issues. We were accepted at Creative Kids with open arms. They were ready and willing to go above and beyond. A few years later I added another child to our family, who ended up being diagnosed with autism and behavioral issues, and picky eating. Again through trails and tribulations with said child we survived by working together for what was in the best interest of my child and made it through til he aged out. My youngest 2 started there at 6 weeks old. They absolutely love going to school, they love their teachers old and new. I’ve never found another place like creative kids and I will always continue to recommend them! The owner and all the staff have become our extended family! No matter where you go there will always be disagreements between staff, it’s life! To the lady saying there’s never any hot meals and sandwiches everyday, obviously you’ve lost your mind because sandwiches are twice a week, the other 3 are hot meals. Hot breakfast is twice a week, the rest are cereal PER THE PA FOOD PROGRAM!!! If you want you child to be loved, cared for, and treated like there own I wouldn’t chose anywhere else! Kids are kids stuff happens you work through it! But you’ll never find a more reliable, dependable, loving, caring, and willing to work through whatever is needed for your child to learn and grow daycare family! Your family is truly their family!!!
Heather HenneySep 11, 2024My son went to Creative Kids from age 2 to 9. I had nothing but good experiences here. The staff were always caring and kind. I had no security or cleanliness issues. My son who is now 13 still asks to stop and visit his former teachers. Especially, Mr. AJ. We try to stop in every 6 months or so to say hi. One particular experience I will be forever grateful for happened on my son's first day of kindergarten. The parents all come to see their kids off for the kiddos first bus ride and it generally gets emotional, especially for moms. All the kids there had either both parents or siblings to send their child off. I'm a single mom and had no one to comfort me like all the other parents. When the bus drove away the tears started rolling! Miss Tania hugged me and said, "He's ok. He's just growing up". In that moment I needed that grounding and she was there for me. It truly is the little things.
Lacey ShumakerSep 11, 2024My kids started at this daycare many years ago and continued to attend this daycare until very recently. From the infant room all the way to the school age room, I have never had a problem. If it wasn’t for the fact that I no longer live in the area, my youngest would be going there as well. Dr. Tina is very helpful and understanding if an issue arises and the staff is full of very committed wonderful people that have been there for years. I would trust them whole heartedly with my children’s well being without a second thought. I have always recommended this daycare and I will continue to do so. 10/10 will definitely recommend!

- Pennsylvania rates CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 3, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE at the time the record was published. Does CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 10.
Does this page show inspection results for CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CREATIVE KIDS DAY CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
