  • I enrolled my son in a preschool class at Ducklings a few months ago & it has absolutely been the best experience for my child and myself. From the social interactions with friends to the outpouring support we receive from the teachers, I couldn’t ask for a better place to have my child. I feel comfortable when dropping off and I love to see the smile on his face when I pick up at night. Melissa, the director, has been so easy to communicate with & has everyones best interest in mind. 10/10 recommend to anyone needing childcare!

  • Love Ducklings! The teachers are wonderful, loving, comforting, and have so many fun activities my son enjoys each day. The building is bright and colorful and kept cleaned. I couldn’t be happier with where my son is!

  • I cannot say enough positive things about Ducklings in Spring City. My son is currently enrolled and comes home with amazing artwork and tons of new skills. He has built friendships with everyone and truly enjoys his time there. Ducklings does an awesome job of balancing education and fun. My older son who attended previously is leaps and bounds ahead of where he needs to be in elementary school after the education provided by the caring, thoughtful teachers. It truly feels like a family and I love the clean and functional facility. The indoor gym is a huge perk to get energy out and allow assemblies with special guests.

  • My children have attended Ducklings since the year they opened. My son went through two classes and off to kindergarten and my daughter started as a young toddler. We have had great experiences with knowledgeable staff who genuinely enjoy what they do. The school prepares the pre-kindergarten kids well above the expectations for entering school and provides a safe and fun environment for learning. Also containing a gym, Ducklings has the ability to let kids run and play even when it’s raining or too cold outside! Compared to lots of other centers, the tuition is lower, turnover of staff is lower, and hours are similar. There is always a wait list, as very few families leave the center before their child moves off to Kindergarten.

  • We love Ducklings! Our son is very happy there, and we can tell the teachers take very good care of him. They also communicate with us regularly about how he is doing. The administrative staff is also excellent, they are always steps ahead of us about anything and everything we need to know or do to help things run smoothly for us and our son.

  • Our family could not be more happy to have our child at Ducklings! The teachers there are dedicated, truly care, and are excellent with children of all ages. They take pains to make sure that every week is special, and the facility is in great shape. We look forward to the years ahead with this tremendous team.

Questions parents ask about DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER

Is DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 103803316-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Chester County. The current certificate runs to February 14, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 6, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 19.

Does this page show inspection results for DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
