  • My nephew attended this daycare and was often not monitored by staff. He would constantly cry and no one would attend to him or nothing of that nature the staff are not supportive of they’re children.

  • My daughter has been a preschool student at educare for 2 years (ages 3-5) and in that time, she’s been deeply loved and cared for. The teachers are kind and very attentive to the kids. The biggest downside to Educare and Methodist Services childcare in general is the lack of communication. Information is posted last minute and is only posted on doors, tables and bulletin boards in various areas of the building. They’ve tried to implement a digital app but never use it, at least for the PreK kids. It’s also very hard to get anyone on the phone at all during the day and there is very little communication released about things like drop off/pick up locating changes, activity changes, days off, etc. All of this being said, the grounds and the staff make it worth it to stay.

  • Not a positive experience here. I feel as though the staff are extremely under qualified to be assisting/teachers. Not appropriate for caring for small kids ( kids pretty much vending for themselves) .My child was extremely intelligent yet they would put anything on their progress report. That gave me the impression right away no one was truly paying attention to the children as individuals but instead were lazy and just processing generic reports. My toddler was also constantly sick with viral bugs and constantly cried to go. Within months my toddlers cheerful personality started to dim. Brought formula to school and it was never given as requested. So many red flags I couldn't take it any more. Even to this day my child reminds me of how terrible the experience was. Ended up leaving the program.. this place takes advantage of low-income families. Not sure if much has changed but based on my experience I would not recommend this place to anyone.

  • It’s very very very bad . It’s awful Also the staff over there are Tough . My son had with them bad days. They Punish him . He doesn’t want to go to any school because they are the reason. Please don’t let your children go to them.

Questions parents ask about EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER

Is EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100153460-0001, listed as "LISTED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER?

Pennsylvania does not report on this for EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER. The sanction field is marked "N/A" in the state's dataset, which is not the same as a recorded "No". Look the provider up at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch for its licensing record.

Does this page show inspection results for EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects EDUCARE LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
