Unfortunately I know things are not handed to me I’ve exhausted every resource that I could in Fayette county I’ve managed to not let my circumstances defeat me or my children but I’ll be lying if I said I’ve broken down a few times in Gorky oh my children because o have to be strong everyday for them I worked my children go to school I have all my credentials for proving that am homeless. Just to feel like am a bother to all of them I can’t get ahold of anyone I’m the la doors just and that’s what I need for them to quote on quote help me with and also saying well we can help you with another program but it’s not guaranteed mind you I’ve proven that am sleeping in my vehicle with y tee children! Happy they help some Individuals in need but unfortunately I have to work ten times harder I e always worked since I was 16 years old I never just depended on the government to do so am at my last straw where I feel I have to get legal aid for someone to help me

My husband and I went here to file our taxes. It was a relief to stop paying so much to have someone file our taxes. Everyone here was friendly, laughing, and pleasant to be around. A bit of a maze at first, but you quickly get used to it. I do wish there was seating in the hallway we had to wait in, though.

If you're looking for help, kind people and all you'd think a community of help should be, DON'T CALL HERE. THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE, THEY WONT CALL BACK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT SO YOU CANT PARTAKE IN THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE BEFORE THEY CLOSE, OR IN GENERAL. HORRIBLE. RUDE.

Many different organizations within the community action building some are able to be helpful faster than others. They have budgets and requirements just like any other agencey so keep an open mind when seeking help they may or may not be able to provide the assistance you need but are willing to point you in another direction if they can not.
