  • The owner and staff are amazing. My children were always loved and treated like family.

  • This daycare is horrible. My son came home everyday with hand prints, bruises and sometimes bite marks. I pulled him out once I realized the daycare was not concerned about his safety. He has been a completely different child, since. I honestly believe something traumatic happened to my son here.

  • Ive had my daughter at this daycare since April of 2015 and we love it here. My child is only 2 years old and has come home with knowledge of a 3 or 4 year old. They do teach and yes family is hired there but in turn YOUR kids feel like family too. They treat the families and their babies like children of their own. Nothing but good things to say about the entire staff. The owners family members that are on site are far from bullies. They go to school with my older children and are always speaking to us and engaging with us. For the most part they do open on time but like any imperfect human beings sometimes they are late. Dont listen to the bad reviews. They simply arent true. Theres just some bitter parents out there...

  • Parents beware, child endangerment, low quality staff besides Ms B. Unprofessional and the staff is more concern with there friendship and family relationship than the children and parent they providing service to. Children and safety should always come first.

  • Parents Beware!!! While this place looks like a nice place for your children, it's not. It's a joke, but you don't learn this until after your kids are there and the problems start. It's just a source of income for the owner who is never on site. It's never open on time, I've sat in my car and waited up to 20 minutes for someone to arrive and have been late to work because of this. There is high staff turnover, relatives as the director and supervisor, the owner's grand children on site who antagonize and bully the children who pay to attend, etc. This is not a learning environment at all. Had to remove my child after 6 weeks. Don't be fooled by the secure door, the security camera's and the large outside playing area. Smoke and mirrors!

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr at the time the record was published. Does Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Happy Trails Child Care & Lrng Ctr's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
