I decided to wait a full calendar year so this review is not fueled by emotion. Removing my son from this school was one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. He is exhibiting NONE of the behaviors reported by Tasha and her staff and is thriving at his new Montessori school. My toddler was very attached to me, so I had no problem staying in his classroom for a little while in the mornings to assist with his transition. There were some mornings he was excited to see his friends and do activities and other mornings he cried, which is normal. I was informed by the staff that he wasn’t taking naps. Instead of assuming it is for behavioral reasons, I decided to get to the root cause. After 11 ear infections, I advocated for him to get ear tubes. While attending Inspire Me Academy, I always kept them informed of days he was not feeling well and would keep him home. I also had dialogue with them daily to see how his day went. After a few months the staff stopped giving me verbal reports of his day and I started receiving emails. They began calling me to pick him up EVERY time he did something or had a tantrum, some mornings as early as 9:15!!! There are no cameras in the classrooms and only 1 teacher for the toddler classroom in the mornings. I began to document all events I saw while present on the classroom. There was no way for the teacher to monitor what was going on in the classroom while her back is turned to change another child! I observed children fighting over toys (normal), still being tired in the morning (normal), and other children that would hit (also behavior that is typical as they are learning to communicate and regulate their emotions). I learned from several stressed and unpleased parents that they too were being called throughout the day to “pick their child up”. This is not a punishment for the child, only a stressor for the parents that are working. There is no positive reinforcement for children that may be upset or having a tantrum. Even if your child is back at baseline and having a great day, they still make you pick them up and take them home for the day. I also came in contact with parents that had since removed their children for the same reasons. During the meeting with Tasha and the teacher they spoke the entire time about things we can do regarding my son’s behavior but never asked what strategies we were already doing at home. Tasha then began to push Behavior support services on many of the families. I did my part as a parent and contacted CHOP as well as DCIU to have him evaluated. Every professional laughed and told me that his behavior was typical of a 2 year old boy and services could not be justified. While my toddler was no angel, for someone who does not have a clinical background to push for behavior support because her staff is overwhelmed is absolutely ridiculous! Threatening to "suspend” a toddler is horrible. The staff can’t even control their own children so I wonder if she is telling them their child will need behavior support services as well? I am glad I made the decision to remove him from this toxic environment! Parents please pay attention to your children if they do not want to be in a specific place. Every school or learning academy is not always a good fit as children are all different.
Sasha TullJul 3, 2025I have nothing but great things to share about this daycare. Tashya has been a pleasure to work with onboarding our daughter and being very accommodating with her early start date. The teachers are so welcoming and treat the children like their own. My daughter now has a structured nap schedule, is learning to eat independently, understands so many nursery rhymes and comes home tired (finally we can sleep through the night). I am very satisfied with the services at Inspire Me Learning and look forward to recommend any family with children.
Vernique FieldsJan 3, 2025My child and I love everyone at inspire me! I am amazed by his growth and how all of his teachers there are invested in him. I appreciate each and every staff who helped my baby reach all his milestones. I can not wait to see him continue to grow here :)
Joanna WilliamsNov 13, 2024My child been attending for two years, everyday she inform me about the letter of the day, she come home singing songs about God and speak highly of her friends. During an incident she had with another student, I contacted the director during off hours, she listened to my concern, addressed the issue and assured I felt comfortable sending my child back the following day. She met with both kids, spoke with staff and I haven’t had any issues since. I highly recommend inspire me
Shekia AndrewsNov 12, 2024While Inspire Me Academy presents itself as a commendable daycare for children's learning and development, it exhibits significant flaws in several areas: 1. Safety: The facility lacks a secure, fenced yard, which is concerning given its proximity to a public food pantry where strangers can access the premises while children are playing nearby. The inside/outside are very dusty-pictures posted below. 2. Curriculum: The curriculum for the 3- and 4-year-old classes focuses on numbers 1-10, which may lead to boredom and disengagement among students like my son, who are already capable of more advanced learning. 3. Lack of Skills (School-to-Prison Pipeline): Regrettably, the “daycare leaders” lack the necessary composure and skills to effectively manage their classrooms. I have observed multiple instances during drop-offs where the staff was out of ratio and overwhelmed. Instead of receiving training to manage their classes, parents have been encouraged to meet with a BCBA (Behavior Specialist) for children as young as 2, 3, and 4 years old. It appears that this process disproportionately affects African American children, which raises concerns about the potential labeling and misdiagnosing of our children based on unfounded negative stereotypes that I would never condone. They have also been unable to assist my child with potty training, despite his compliance at home. It is worth noting that several employees have posted five-star ratings. Due to concerns about bullying from Tashya and her staff, other parents and I have formed a support group to address these issues. I strongly advise considering enrollment at this daycare!
Jasmine McGriffOct 15, 2024We’ve been very happy with Inspire Me. The staff and environment are warm and loving. Our baby started daycare full time at 4 months and has been happy at drop off and pick up every day (he’s 16 months now). He’s had a stable cohort the entire year and we’re about to start year two with him. We are really pleased with his growth, the individual attention he receives, and the thought and care that goes into the programming even in the baby room. The teachers, staff and director really care and have integrity in their work. We know our baby is in good hands.

Is INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 103653630-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to March 1, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 13, 2022. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.
Does this page show inspection results for INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects INSPIRE ME PRESCHOOL ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
