  • If you're toddler has special needs or needs help this isn't the place for them. They will disenroll them with no notice or warnings. They didn't follow the handbook or contract upon disenrollment. If your toddlers throws toys or cries and can't calm down, out the door they go. I was never told the phone calls where a conference call. That's usually done in office. Never on any of those calls did you say you were going to kick him out. Only after his OT gave you the report about accommodations he needed to calm down. I get a phone call saying he is unenrolled immediately.

  • Our experience with Little Appleseed has been incredible! The facility is impeccably clean and our family has been VERY impressed with the teachers. All of the teachers are friendly, personable, professional and very caring. They have enrichment activities and structured learning for all age groups, as well as inside and outside recreation time. I truly am so grateful for these wonderful teachers. I highly recommend Little Appleseed and have been so so pleased with the care my daughter receives there.

Questions parents ask about LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER

Is LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 103020117-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to August 17, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 9, 2018. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects LITTLE APPLESEED LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
