Nzinga Reed is the prek teacher who has changed the game. She uses the Montessori method and is certified in its usage. The patience and consistency she has with our children is truly top tier. I have watched my daughter truly evolve and with much confidence too. The five stars is because of her. Also a repeat shout out to the one who took care of my daughter in her infancy, Tamara who still works here caring for the little bundles of joy. She is still caring ray of sunshine. Allahummah Barik both women have been a blessing in our lives.
Kelly MassopMay 19, 2026Classroom 9 is amazing I notice my child talks about class even on the weekends she looks forward to learning & engaging with her teachers & peers
Aaliyah BrownMay 18, 2026My daughter has been attending M.E.C.C.A since Feb of 2024. My husband and I are very pleased with the care and attention our daughter receives on a daily basis. Sis. Tamara has been her teacher since day 1 and we love her. Sis. Courtney, who started in the summer of 2024 has been a great addition to the classroom as well. Her and Sis. Tamara work amazing together with the kids. They follow the Montessori lessons and my daughter loves showing new things she has learned. With them using the Procare app to keep parents updated on daily activities, we get different ideas of activities to do at home. With our daughter only being 1 years old, we can see the independence, determination, and leadership skills she's learning. And we embrace and encourage her along the way to continue. The administration staff are very friendly and helpful as well and will answer any questions we have.Thank you Sis Tamara and Sis Courtney for being amazing💜.
Jessica SMar 5, 2025My experience with MECCA has been nothing short of a disaster. The administration team only care about their appearance and money they are not in it for the children at all. If you have a custody order they do not follow what the judge has ordered they go off of their own intellect which is sad because you’re dealing with adults whose brain doesn’t work properly! My daughter was being spit on and hit by boys and they told me they don’t expel kids they just keep writing them up and eventually have a meeting with the child’s parent, they accept all children most with behavior issues because they have to have a certain amount of kids enrolled in Pre K in order to get funding by Philly Free Pre K.My daughter has came home with injuries and nobody could tell me how it happened , held her urine for hours because she was scared to tell the assistant she had to use the restroom and all of the Pre K classes are out of ratio it’s supposed to be 10:1 its 15:1 at drop off time I would usually stay in the classroom until help arrives. The turn over rate for the teachers are very high because they are over worked and I’m guessing underpaid! Sis Dana, Sis Tia and Sis Shanikqua have been excellent in caring and teaching my daughter preparing her for kindergarten without them she would have been removed from the school! When you have an issue the owner is never around to speak to they try to cover the issue with a bandaid before it gets back to her. It’s to many people in the office trying to be a boss when they have simple titles like receptionist. Most of the administration is friends, they gossip, order lunch and sit around doing nothing! If you are a parent who actually cares for your children I highly advise you send them somewhere else, they don’t like when parents speak up in regard to the care of their kids!
Durriyyah SabirJan 26, 2025Excellent and caring staff, they don't just want any warm body looking after kids, they really recruit and keep committed staff that are there to nurture your children. Daily home cooked meals, after-care and fun activities for children that help them to learn while playing; what else could you ask for. Also they are 4 star school so it's not just me saying this!
pak divaDec 12, 2023You can feel the sincere love of the admin and instructors at this school. I have always felt that my child was safe and well-cared for. Montessori program is A+.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY at the time the record was published. Does MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects MASJIDULLAH EARLY CHILDCARE ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
