Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this daycare. I found the owner to be unprofessional and felt that the Uptown location was not given the same level of care and attention as the West Philadelphia location. One of my biggest concerns was that when the Uptown location was short-staffed, families were expected to take their children to the West Philadelphia location. That may not seem like a big deal to some, but not every parent has reliable transportation, and it creates a major inconvenience for working families. I was also very concerned that there were times when staff had to use their own money to buy lunch for the children because food had not been purchased. In my opinion, basic necessities like meals should always be planned for and never become the responsibility of employees. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of organization and consideration shown toward families. Based on my experience, I do not believe this daycare demonstrates the level of quality and professionalism that parents deserve.

Questions parents ask about SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2
Is SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 holds Pennsylvania certificate 103658350-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to January 14, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on July 7, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2 holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects SCHOLARS OF THE FUTURE 2's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
