I caught a cold after wiping snotty noses for a week straight, called in 2 hrs before my shift to let the owner know I wasn't feel well and wouldn't make it in... She suggested that I come in still and the kids can have a "light day and watch movies" or we will have to "cut ties." when I later texted her asking is showing up more important than health and safety, which I just finished the training, she lied and TEXTED that she asked did I have a doctors note or at the hospital because she knew she was wrong! When I stated what she actually said back word from word, no response. The owner is more into passing state inspections than the actual health of the daycare, for instant, she completed my CPR training and I just paid! Good thing I actually have a valid CPR training from previous job, that I could not find in time to be put in the folder for inspections! I would rate working here a 4/10 and the health and safety of the children maybe a bit higher so lets say 5/10. There are multiple locations, same owner.. I am speaking about the daycare I'VE WORKED in on 63rd and Lebanon across the street from rite aid.
