My son was just kicked out ON HIS 2nd Day. Because they LOST HIM in THERE PLAYGROUND!! For 30 mins. Had staff looking for him. Eventually found him hiding in a tunnel in which they had to go in and get him. He’s 5!! They blamed him. His therapist also failed him. So the staff for the preschool room plus a therapist. Lost my child. That was supposed to have eyes on him at all times. ( ADHD) is the reason he has a therapist. In their eyes I should have listed him as being special needs. They said I lied to them about him being special needs. He’s not. He has ADHD. That doesn’t make him Special needs. They found every excuse to remove him from their care. They requested that he have his therapist there the entire time he is in their care because he expresses bad behavior. He is only approved for 5 hrs of care a day. 100 hrs a week. They did not want to agree to 5 hrs when he was there for 7. I guess 2 hrs no therapist is a lot to a child care facility. I asked the lady Sue on the phone what behaviors are bad. She stated he wouldn’t move from one table to the other when asked to. Okay so that makes him a bad kid to the point he can’t attend with out a therapist upon doing the tour I expressed he does have some minor behavior issues which is why his BHT would be coming daily to work with him. That didn’t mean do their job so they didn’t have to care for him. He is still in their care. If your child doesn’t have behavioral issues. Great day care. Just they are so judgmental on kids that need a little extra care. In my opinion this place needs shut down or at least require kids with out issues. No kid is perfect. But to them they take the easy way out and choose the “ easy kids” to care for. They even had a problem with him having an accident on his first day. He’s still potty training. Again. I stated that during the tour. But the end of his first day they said accidents are un acceptable. And would need a pull up. Daily. So they wouldn’t have to clean up a mess. 1 star from me. Don’t waste your time with this daycare.
Kaleb SimmsMay 5, 2025The reason why I am making this review is I will give the staff props for having a great attitude on the phone and in person however the reviews do not lie when people make one stars reviews and it is for a reason I see. But I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and decide to tour here anyways. The overall layout inside the building is warming for a child to be in. But I had toured here and expressed my concerns to the director’s wife about how my son has a disability and would need to be more attended to more carefully she got quickly to talking me down and pushed me away due to not wanting to have their staff watch my child more in depth it’s not my fault my son has a disability but I found that funny because all the other daycares would take kids regardless of what they have and accept them. But from how she was talking it seemed my child was gonna be a burden on them and still asked if I wanted the paperwork anyways like why would I need paperwork when basically your telling me indirectly you are just not gonna take him like no thanks a real Christian would take children in regardless of what baggage they come with. but it’s a no for me. don’t take your children here cause the lady here is very judgmental of your children.
Cheyenne BellFeb 8, 2024A childcare center based in Christ and their faith. Hard to find such a thing in todays world. All of the staff love the kids just as much as we do. Such a wonderful place ❤️
Nicole NavariOct 31, 2022My children's enrollment was approved one week and when we showed up for the first day we were turned away. They first indicated that the program was full and had returned my deposit/paperwork via mail - nope. Stated they left me a message regarding being full - nope. I asked how that could be when my enrollment was verbally approved the week before unpon receiving our deposit and paperwork. Then suddenly they were concerned about the behavior of my children - whom they had NOT met yet, just based this on enrollment forms. (They have the right to enroll or decline as they see fit, not disputing that.) Just be an adult and handle the conversation BEFORE we arrive expecting care. So if you want your kids judged for things they haven't done yet, please sign up here. Otherwise find different child care. No compassion for kids. No understanding of children's behaviors. No willingness to be open and honest. No communication about issues. All they do is judge you.
Alisa AdamsJun 9, 2022Our children and a few friends of ours attend here, all super happy with the staff and attention given. My kids have developed so much and just love thier teachers ❤. Affordable and very good for our family. Thankful they stand up for whats best for my babies to learn and grow!
mike baackeFeb 14, 2022Nothing but negative thoughts about this place. Had to turn away four of my coworkers and their families from utilizing them. Beyond disappointed & frustrated. Had to pull my two year old because she was out of control 🤔. New daycare she is in and not one issue. Pay a little more but the peace of mind is worth it. Certified Child Care Sitters ran over by a two year old. We had high hopes at first.

The current certificate runs to December 2, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

- Pennsylvania rates NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 4, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 4.
Does this page show inspection results for NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects NOAHS ARK CHILD CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
