  • Our time at RCC has been truly amazing. From the start, we felt welcomed and supported, knowing our children were in great hands. We've seen them grow so much—not only academically but emotionally and socially. The staff’s dedication and care made a real difference in their lives. Our kids came home every day excited about what they had learned, and it’s clear the foundation they’ve built here will last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for the positive impact RCC has had on our children, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to their educational journey.

  • My daughter attended pre-k here. It was a wonderful experience for both of us! The staff was amazing. My daughter was MORE than prepared for kindergarten. They went above and beyond to see to it!! I would recommend this place to anyone who has young children. From infancy to pre-k they have you covered with excellent care!

Questions parents ask about Riverview Childrens Center

Is Riverview Childrens Center a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Riverview Childrens Center holds Pennsylvania certificate 100134099-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to October 5, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Riverview Childrens Center's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Riverview Childrens Center STAR 4 - ACC, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 15, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Riverview Childrens Center?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Riverview Childrens Center at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Riverview Childrens Center accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Riverview Childrens Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for Riverview Childrens Center?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Riverview Childrens Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
