  • Great community center, so welcoming, very safe for kids. Membership is reasonable and beneficial, but you don’t need it to get the benefits for the programming. Our kids love the programming.

  • This a beautiful facility. It is a really great community center complete with pickle ball courts, basketball courts, and a great meeting area to hold functions. We were there to celebrate a 100th birthday and the set up was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and the facility was very clean.

  • Great friendly atmosphere, the staff is great and It's super clean. The programs the offer for kids are great. My wife loves the exercise classes, the gym is nice with a good verity of equipment. The track area is great too. We love it there, always feels welcoming and the staff is helpful.

  • Clean gym, friendly enough staff. Small space. There are only 3 squat racks / benches, but lots of dumbbells and kettle bells, and good machines. A bit pricey to activate and deactivate your membership. I was not made aware of the termination fee until I cancelled my membership

  • Very clean and well staffed. A super nice facility. Not very crowded. We joined as a family 2 months ago. My boy plays basketball with his friends a couple of times a week and I lift some weights and ride the fancy stationary bicycle. Good times!

  • Beautiful place. Truly. Went there for a wedding reception and it was spacious, workers were friendly! Saw some of the gym and basketball courts and they looked very clean and spacious (again) The sunset was picture perfect over there. Large playing area for kids as well. The only thing I could complain about is the structure of the entrance and parking. Just a little awkward. But overall a great place.

Questions parents ask about THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER

Is THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 103639882-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to January 13, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 29, 2020. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does this page show inspection results for THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE LAURI ANN WEST COMMUNITY CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
