I am over the moon happy with this center. I send 3 of my foster babies there. I cant express how much I love their teachers. (Penguins turtles and frogs classroom) They treat each of the babies like their own.
Ashley WierzchowskiJul 24, 2026I wouldn't send my dog here! Children are sent home for completely different reasons than told to the parent over the phone. The director makes it her mission to hide from parents, she is never around. The main office knows the director a HUGE problem and admits to multiple complaints from staff and parents about the director, but they won't do anything about it bc she knows someone special. One staff has a child that is aggressive to multiple other children and nothing is done to keep this children away from the ones he hurts. My child was bit 4 times while attending this horrid place, 3 times by the staffs kid and again nothing is done. There are a few staff that are great with the kids but majority are not. Think twice before you send your child here!
J LeeMar 25, 2025As a new mom sending my baby to daycare was difficult. I was constantly being reassured that she was well taken care of. My baby has thrived in the newborn classroom. The director, teachers and all other staff involved in her care make me feel so comfortable with our daycare choice. I am constantly getting photos and updates on how her day is going. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for an environment that will allow their child to grow and thrive.
Jenn McIntireDec 13, 2024My little one has thrived here in the preK counts program. He was a late talker and was lacking in social skills prior to attending and now he is doing soooo well. The teachers there are wonderful and kind and are great at meeting each individual child's specific needs, even if it's sitting with them and soothing them during nap time or holding their hand and giving them something to do during drop off. They are so patient and friendly and all the staff there works as a team and helps out whenever needed.
Nick-Amber TodhunterMay 30, 2024No structure teachers didn’t last and children have to learn new teachers. They get paid $20/hour and don’t want to do their job. Worst experience I’ve ever encountered with children. The previous director injured my child and when I brought it to her attention the director was moved to another facility. No investigation was conducted no explanation for the injury it was just swept under the rug. Unqualified people labeling my child as having a disability due to learned behavior from the environment. Reduced hours to two hours a day with an unrealistic goal plan, with no updates on progress other than the negatives. Never praising good behaviors. Was forced to not only adjust my work schedule but had to have family and friends sit in class and/or pick my child up early while all the kids were still there. Resulting in more unwanted outbursts from my child because she could not process why she isn’t allowed to stay like the other children because she’s a CHILD. My child had a target on her back. I dropped her off at 8:43 AM and was called to come get her at 8:54 AM. They only care about money. I contacted Brittany Lunger to see what program funded the school and she said “head start” and refused to give me a phone number and told me to “google it” and “do what I had to do.” I would not recommend your child will learn things and be punished for mimicking and just being a child. One last thought, they would “evacuate the entire classroom” when my child was being “violent” with no proof and refused to show me facts such as video footage due to privacy of other kids. And how the cameras do not record they are in “real time.” 😒😒 I do appreciate the teachers who took there time and cared for my child without judgement.
Mallory BednaroFeb 15, 2024This facility is so amazing. My child loves it here. I can not say enough good things about this place. Everyone is always so friendly. Its always so clean and organized. When I found out they were opening up it took off A lot of stress trying to find daycare. I was very pleased my little one got into this daycare.

The current certificate runs to September 21, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 27, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 1.
Does this page show inspection results for ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ROOSEVELT CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
