  • I am writing to share my experience as a parent of a child with autism who recently attended this facility. I ultimately withdrew my son after a series of distressing safety and professional lapses. Within a single week, my son was physically attacked by another student and subsequently returned home with several significant scratches down his back. No incident report was filed, and I was not notified of these injuries by the staff; I only discovered them myself later that evening. When I questioned the facility, I was told he had "slipped" while being changed—an explanation that did not align with the nature of the injuries. Furthermore, I received unprofessional and aggressive communication from a classroom teacher regarding my son’s IEP requirements. While the Assistant Director did eventually reach out to apologize and admitted that leadership was unaware of the teacher’s conduct, the damage to our trust was already done. If you have a child with a disability or additional support needs, please be aware that the staff lacked the necessary training and transparency to provide a safe environment for my son. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for inclusive and responsible care

  • Terrible school. Teachers send home kids for anything seems like they don’t want to be actual teachers. Steph yells at kids like she’s a dictator. Director always backing up teachers for inappropriate behavior. Very discriminatory against certain kids. Caught a teacher hitting an autistic student. Sends my kid home everyday or he gets hurt every day. Teachers like to yell and drag kids by their arms. There’s a child in my kids class who hits teachers every day but they target my kid for the littlest things. Highly do not recommend if you wanna keep your job and not get a phone call every day.

  • My kids have been attending the center for a couple years now! All the staff they have been involved with are amazing to the children and the relationship and trust they develop with these kids leaves you leaving the center knowing that they’re in good hands! WATCH OUT FOR MRS. SIERRA AND MISS MEGHAN! Then THE WORSE TEACHERS AT THAT CENTER THAT THEYRE THE BEST! If you want your kids to be in good hands and genuine connections this is the place for YOU! 🫵🏾 Shout out to Ms. Meghan, Ms. Sierra, and Ms. Stephanie! Also my daughter loves all the staff even the ones she no longer is in the class room with! Shout out to Ms. C! And Mr. Matt!!

  • If I could give it 0 stars I would. The staff don't watch the kids, the staff fall asleep on the job and kids can easily escape. Worst managerment ever, no communication between staff and director. If you complain be prepared to get a write up and be told to make it work or you'll be fired. Good luck!

What is ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on November 30, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 1.

Does this page show inspection results for ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ST MARTIN EARLY LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
