  • Management’s communication with staff is severely lacking and I felt certain issues weren’t handled professionally. I also observed behavior among staff and management that felt unprofessional. Don’t send your kids into this environment.

  • If I could give 0 stars, I would. During my time here, I had concerns about how management handled communication and professionalism. In interactions involving management (sisters with the initials J. and N.) and another employee (initial G.), I experienced behavior I felt was unprofessional and discussions that were inappropriate regarding staff and parents. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this daycare.

  • My son has been going here for a year and a half now. He receives outside services with which this daycare is extremely supportive. They do a wonderful job transitioning between rooms, he loves his teachers and their activities and the communication has always been very good. In terms of care for your child and staff retention, activities and communication, this is one of the best daycares that we have seen.

  • My son went here for a few years, and to be honest, it is one of the best daycares I had found. The owners Jamie and Nikki were always there to answer any concerns and were very professional, and always went out of their way to help! We had two different teachers while we were there, and both teachers were also great with him!

  • Been with them for several years now and cannot believe how much kids have grown and matured. The directors and staff are remarkable people and are kindhearted and treat children with respect. They also go above and beyond to keep all children safe and communicate effectively with their families during hardships and remedy concerns rapidly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality child care.

  • If I could, I would give this daycare no stars at all. All the reviews posted prior to me are true. The ladies who run this daycare, which are sisters, are extremely rude, snooty and unprofessional. I've been in management for over 10 years and I can tell you they do not know how to properly run a business, especially with children. They do not know how to properly communicate with parents in regards to their children and will avoid communication at all costs. They dont allow kids to be KIDS!!! From my experience, you can tell they are not in it for the kids but rather in it for the money. I'm really just appalled by how things are handled at this daycare. I've never experienced anything like it.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER at the time the record was published. Does THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE GROWING TREE CHILD CARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
