  • The building is truly a remarkable sight, characterized by its elegant architecture and vibrant surroundings. It boasts a diverse array of engaging programs that cater specifically to young children, fostering creativity and learning in a nurturing environment. One of its standout features is a delightful wooden playground, thoughtfully designed to inspire imaginative play and provide a safe space for children to explore. This enchanting playground is complemented by the natural beauty of the landscape, making it an appealing spot for families. Furthermore, conveniently located at the rear of the building is the local post office, which provides essential services to the community and adds to the charm of the area.

  • My kids and I always enjoy the Waverly community House! The playground is unique in that it is a big wooden structure. There are also some adjustable basketball hoops outside with enough pavement for them to practice shooting hoops and a really nice tennis court. It is convenient because it has indoor bathrooms and my kids like the open gym too.

  • Amazing place. My wife and her siblings essentially grow up there, and it was her first choice for our wedding reception. Our was decorated beautifully and save us a lot of money. Wr recommend the Comm for anything and everything!

  • This place offers a lot of different things. I'm not an expert, but I do know they offer a music class, a dance class, and a terrific playground. The classes do cost money, but the prices are so reasonable it's nearly free. It's impeccably maintained, always clean, and everyone I've dealt with her has been extremely nice.

Questions parents ask about WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE

Is WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE holds Pennsylvania certificate 103004249-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lackawanna County. The current certificate runs to June 15, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on July 30, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 12.

Does this page show inspection results for WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects WAVERLY COMMUNITY HOUSE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
