  • Great daycare for our kids, great programs but most importantly great scheduling. Tough to find a spot with such flexibility on time!

  • Omg!! Dr. Daycare is absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful that my daughter had the chance to be part of this wonderful school. Ms. Kayla and Ms. Maria are incredible teachers—loving, kind, patient, and so appreciative of their students. My daughter has truly come out of her shell since being here. She’s so smart that people often question her age! She loves talking about her school and her friends every day—there’s never a day she doesn’t mention her class. Thank you so much, Dr. Daycare, for welcoming my daughter and supporting our family during some personal challenges we’ve faced. To all future students and families, this is such a great place to be!

  • Our triplets attended the state pre k here (2 classrooms) at the Thornley location. The teachers were so kind and accommodating to our family needs. They even worked with them if they were ahead of the other students, challenging them when able to. Even though they were split between two rooms, both lead teachers and assistants teachers treated them all as their own students. Their interactions with them were so positive, each and every day. The other staff were very kind to our children as well. We were very fortunate to attend here. Our children are sad to leave but are ready for kindergarten.

  • I really don’t like leaving negative reviews often, however I am so disappointed with this establishment. This happened on Monday, I only took a few days because my review would have came from a place of anger rather than letting others know my experience which is what I intend to do. My son had to switch daycares from the North Providence location (5* establishment, loved the teachers, communication, and cleanliness of it) and we found DDC Pawtucket. I was excited thinking it would be similar to DDC N Providence, unfortunately it was far from it. Upon arrival Matt did not tell me any information on how the Pre-K class runs, or any information on anything better yet. He brought me and my son to his classroom that had the most god awful cigarette smoke smell - and I am not a prune I smoked when I was younger and it was a VERY strong smell like a half put out cigarette was in someones pocket or better yet an ashtray in the room. I don’t care if someone smells like smoke, but if a child is going to stay in a daycare Monday-Friday 8 hours a day it should NOT smell like that. It is a childcare facility and not a casino. I dropped him off and immediately called out of work to go tour another daycare which thankfully had openings- so I rushed on over to pick Jr from DDC Pawtucket after having had only been there for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. To my surprise nobody was at the front desk, hopefully that isnt where the cameras are as a daycare should provide safety & security. I grabbed my son from his class (with a wet through diaper and the diapers i packed him were not even opened) and found Matt and when explaining to him my disappointment he had a smug smirk on his face and couldnt even apologize or say he will address the situation. When I told him the class reeked he sort of chuckled and I had to RESTATE how bad the class smelled: I recorded the conversation from my pocket and the lack of empathy or urgency to fix the situation was absolutely devastating. No school should smell so badly, and the management should be ashamed to not take that matter seriously. That can make children sick and should be taken seriously.

  • My son just graduated pre k at Dr. Day care in Pawtucket and we had an AMAZING experience. His teachers Ms. Kayla, Ms. Christina and Mr.Pablo were all angels. Always communicated well and my son truly enjoyed going to school every single day. Mr. Matt the director was great too! I’m honestly sad to see them go.

  • I have had two of my children attend this Thornley St. location. My kids have had great, positive relationships with all the teachers and, as a parent, I have had wonderful relationships with teachers and staff. I know my kids are safe and well taken care of and everyday their teacher would let me know how their day went. My kids are always happy to come every morning and love playing outside in their large fenced in play space! The staff has given my family the flexibility we have needed over the years and I could not be more grateful for this team. They have really been a huge, wonderful part of my family for the past three years.
