Ivybrook Academy

I deeply cherish the staff at Ivybrook Academy-Greenville. They have curated such a calm and intentional space for learning. I remember touring and knowing immediately that it was where my child belonged. I enrolled my child as a 4 year old in the pre-k program and watched him FLOURISH. It was his first time ever in a classroom environment and everyone there embraced him, cared for him, and encouraged him to be the very best version of himself. I get teary eyed talking to anyone about this school because the love they gave my child truly made a difference in his life. We are fully prepared for kindergarten and excited for our next chapter, but will sincerely miss the administrative staff and educators that made this past year such an incredible one. Sincerest thanks to Ivybrook Academy-Greenville for a year full of love. I’ll never quite be able to articulate just how important all of you are to me and my family.

Amazing experience! My daughter had no prior childcare experience and transitioned beautifully due to the dedicated and genuine staff. Kathleen (principal) was so supportive and welcoming on our initial tour. On my daughter’s first day, Miss Jackie (her teacher) met me at our car and made me and my daughter feel so at ease and comfortable with everything. Miss Abby was her co-teacher and always so incredibly helpful and encouraging. They certainly helped her succeed in pre-kindergarten class! This year, she had Miss Hannah and Miss Faith who were both so knowledgeable and intentional in prepping my daughter for a smooth transition into Kindergarten. Throughout her journey, I received pictures of my daughter’s milestones, awesome artwork and activities throughout the day that helped with discussing her day later. It also put my “mommy mind” at ease to keep up with her progress throughout the day. The front staff, administration and Discovery teacher Miss Farr were always with a smile and wonderful in helping with transition in the morning line. They even helped build a community for my daughter by grouping her with classmates as they exited their cars to reduce any social awkwardness. This school is top-notch and well-deserving of all its great reviews! I only wish I had more time there!

Wonderful teachers and administrators who care so deeply for kids. The communication was great and our child gained invaluable knowledge and experiences from her 2 years there.

Three years ago, we moved to a new state and had to make one of the biggest decisions for our family from four states away. We needed a school for our two sons. Our oldest was going into Kindergarten, and our youngest was 2. We took a leap of faith on this little school after having my mom tour it for us, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It was THE best 3 years. From the very beginning, we felt the love, care, and intentionality that makes this school so special. The teachers and faculty are truly exceptional. They are ALL nurturing, patient, communicative, and deeply invested in each child’s growth. Our boys have flourished academically, socially, and emotionally in ways we could not have imagined. Beyond the incredible Montessori education, this school has given us something even more valuable, a community. As newcomers to the area, we were welcomed with open arms and quickly felt like part of a family. We are endlessly grateful for this school, the amazing staff, and the environment they create every single day. If you are considering this school for your children, know that it is truly a special place. It will always have a HUGE piece of our hearts.
