My eldest daughter attended LMMS for three years and we absolutely loved it. The owner and her teacher, as well as the other primary teachers are amazing! She’s in second grade now and still talks about her first school. Naturally, with our experience, I enrolled my youngest there as well. The receptionist is very kind and accommodating and of course the owner is just a rock star. The primary teachers are the same and my youngest is loving her teacher and class. We love this little community and love that my daughters got and are getting taught here.
GabrielaOct 16, 2025i miss here, it was a great school
Jaxon HaleMay 16, 2023Both of my childrens went to Lake Murray Montessori School for 3 years, they literally grew up there. As any mother of young childrens do, me and my husband visited every local preschools in Northeast areas several times to make the decision. This school had help my children grow into exceptional children socially and academically. If you are looking for a truly decated mind set of teachers, Lake Murray Montesorri school has the right system and curriculum for preschoolers. Especially, the director has true heart of the teacher, which matters more than anything when I choose a preschool for my childrens.
Sandy L.Jun 13, 2019I have two kids who are 5 and 2yrs old going to LMMS at Elder’s pond and both of them love to go to school even in the weekends. The teachers are really good to the kids and they teach different activities according to the learning ability of the kid rather than forcing the kids to learn. My kids always get excited to learn new things and I couldn’t ask for better teachers and facility than LMMS.
ramya smithaJun 2, 2018I cannot express just how much my family loves this school and the people associated with it! My son went there for three years and my daughter is now wrapping up her third year as well and I really credit LMMS with the positive way my children have come into their own personalities. Montessori really helps children become self-aware and responsible and I feel that they enter public school much more advanced and genuinely excited to learn new things. The owner has always been professional and courteous but also sincerely cares about each child and takes the time to get to know them individually (and rejoices with you when you see them grow and master new skills!). I love the director/head teacher and how she has challenged my children to develop but she is also patient when they struggle and helps them find solutions. I have seen how students can get overlooked in other settings and I really wish every parent could send their children to Lake Murray Montessori School!
Ashley QuamMay 11, 2018Our son has been coming here for 3 years and he loves it! There are even some Saturdays he asks if he can go to school. They are very open to talking about any questions or concerns you have with your child. I'm thrilled with the fact that he is not only excelling academically but learning real life skills (apple cutting, washing dishes, etc) and is very excited to talk about what lessons he did for the day. Any minor injuries have always been documented and the few behavior concerns have always been discussed same day so we can address them immediately. When our youngest son is of age he will be here too! Genuinely good people interested in helping your child
