  • Love Kindercare! The director is amazing. She would help me with all the issues that I have. Shadvodka goes above and beyond to help. This daycare is so clean and organized. Teachers are nice and informative.

  • My son and I were dislocated for a few months and had to come back to Memphis. We attended Kindercare previously & this was an easy transition. I'm glad I chose this location, it's always super clean, smells good, and the teachers are involved with each child although the ratios can be bigger at times. They are very organized, they have extra incentives we didn't have previously like sports & picture day. I really enjoyed my experience for the short time. The Director is very understanding, kind, and they will work with you when you run into dire situations. Highly recommend them! 👌🏽

  • I like it in the beginning but soon realized the poor communication with leadership with my children’s concerns. My child wasn’t happy there anymore. So disappointing because for once I almost had confidence in a daycare. Seems like they’re enrolling too many kids in my opinion.

  • My baby has been in infant room A since march and I absolutely love it there! The teachers loves on those babies like they are theirs and that warms my heart! The building is clean and all staff seems to love what they do!

  • I was interested in after care for my daughter back in May while my newborn was in NICU, but ended up not utilizing the service. Regardless of NEVER finishing the sign up process and enrolling my child, I was billed. I had spoken with this location twice regarding the bill, as I received several calls and emails from Kindercare corporate about an unpaid balance. When I tried to clear it up with corporate, they said I had to contact my local Kindercare. When speaking with this location, I was assured the bill would be removed, and since the calls/emails ceased I assumed it was properly taken care of. Today, 4 months later, I receive an email from a debt collector about this same bill. Of course there is no direct email or phone number for the owner of this facility to attempt to get this properly taken care of, as it should’ve been the first time around. Being billed for services not provided is not only unreasonable but unlawful. Since this illegitimate bill has been turned over to a debt collector, federal laws apply and I will be pursuing that course of action when this could’ve been avoided had this location just followed through in the first place. This displays a serious level of mismanagement and lack of integrity. If they cannot properly manage simple clerical work and communication, I would not feel comfortable trusting them with the care of my children. As an establishment that works closely with families, I expected better. Parents have enough on their plates, now because of their negligence I have to spend the time (that could be better spent with my children) leaving this review and attempting to get this collection removed.

  • Shavodka, the center director, and her staff are wonderful. We have had our children enrolled at this location since 2021 and the teachers/staff work closely to address each child's needs. The kids love their teachers and are excited to see them at drop-off. Speaks volumes about the quality of care and attention each child receives. Highly recommend!!

Is Countrywood KinderCare a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

Yes. Countrywood KinderCare holds Tennessee licence TN-3588, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Shelby County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.

What is Countrywood KinderCare's star rating in Tennessee?

Tennessee rates Countrywood KinderCare 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. The Star-Quality rating measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

What are Countrywood KinderCare's hours?

The state record lists 6:30 AM-6:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What programmes does Countrywood KinderCare take part in?

The state record lists Transportation provided. Transportation is approved and the record shows no fee charged for it.

What are the site rules at Countrywood KinderCare?

The provider reports No Smoking/Vaping, Transportation by School to and From the Provider, Wheelchair Accessible. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.

Does this page show inspection results for Countrywood KinderCare?

No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Countrywood KinderCare's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
