  • We’ve started with the ELC when my oldest was 10 weeks and now she’s 3.5 years old. My youngest is 1.5 years and truly we’ve had a great experience! The management has been very responsive and supportive. Kelly, Amanda, everyone has worked with us. My girls love their teachers, and Ms Jennifer-who my daughter loves so much she insists on bringing a new toy to show her daily. Every daycare has their hiccups, but I’m appreciative how this staff combats them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • My 6 year old daughter was physically assaulted by 2 little boys. When she told the teacher nothing was done except telling her "If you told one teacher about it then you can't tell another one." The next day one of the little bous told my daughter that his dad was a sheriff and that he was going to shoot her. Safety in definitely not a priority here. Send your kids here at your own risk. Added after YMCA responded to review: The matter was not investigated when brought up to the staff. Nobody informed me when I picked my daughter up, she told me in the car. I turned around and went back to the school and spoke to the director and she was unaware that an incident occurred.

  • Our 3 month old daughter contracted covid from this daycare after only being there for 5 days. When we reported it to the director, she did nothing about it. The center did not inform any of their workers or other parents. No precautions were taken, and we noticed several other children in the infant room with similar symptoms. They also do not clean off toys or rockers in between children either. They did not make our daughters bottles correctly and used too much water, putting her at risk for water poisoning. They also used sink water despite the fact that we told them specifically to use the purified water we sent due to digestive issues. When conducting a fire drill, several other infants were put in our daughters crib and wheeled outside. The crib was placed on the very edge of the driveway, just missing the street. They should have placed them on the grass where the crib was not at risk of rolling into the street. They also did not sanitize her crib afterwards.

  • I LOVE the infant room at the Lakeland YMCA. All of the teachers are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to make sure my baby is comfortable and happy. I can’t say enough about those ladies and am constantly impressed with how well they care for my baby. They are also excellent at communicating daily needs and activities and I love that they make daycare fun with all the cute crafts they do with the babies. ❤️❤️❤️

  • I absolutely love this daycare and each one of the staff members! Everyone here genuinely cares about my children. The center is always clean and well kept. The environment is very stimulating and offers daily hands-on activities. I am always impressed with the new things that my children learn. Thank you, Leslie, for maintaining an excellent child care center that my children love coming to everyday!!

  • We have lived here for about 6 months and after having a horrible experience the first time we were so lucky to find the Y! My son was 2 when he started and it has been nothing but amazing! This facility is clean, the staff are caring and the friendliest people I’ve ever met! This daycare also has cameras available to watch (for an extra fee) and I loved having that option! My son had some speech problems before starting and he is now speaking so well and has learned so much from this school. We are leaving due to my husbands military career but we would have kept him in for the long haul if we could! I will be searching for a YMCA Childcare Center in our next location! I one million percent recommend this facility for anyone searching for the best for their child. We will miss you YMCA! You’ve been so great to us!
