  • My son attended the Davis Center from 3 months to 8 months and I was so nervous to leave him in anyone else’s care when I finished maternity leave. From day one, there was never a doubt in my mind that my son was so loved and cared for. His teachers were so happy to see him every morning and he learned so many things from them and the other babies in the class. The office staff are friendly and always greeted us by name. We wouldn’t be leaving the Davis Center if it weren’t for our out-of-state move. We are so sad to be leaving but we know that means another baby gets to experience the love and care that the Davis Center had to offer.

  • I have a 4 year old and 2 year old and we are so happy we found the Davis Center. The staff are very friendly. We receive pictures and updates throughout the day.

  • My kids started at the Davis Center about a month ago and we love it so much. I receive photos of my kids throughout the day, both of my kids LOVE their teachers, and the teachers are nothing but kind. I could not ask for better childcare for my kids and would recommend the Davis Center to anyone looking for childcare. We are so grateful for you all!

  • Honest review: this place gave me alot of anxiety when caring for my son. There were multiple times that I picked him up and he was dirty and not tended to. My son was in the infant room and the care was not good. He was sick all the time. Their sick policy is very relaxed and kids would come in sick and get my son sick. While he was there he had RSV, several colds, double eye infection, double ear infection, and sinus infection. I believe he was super depressed when going here. He was never happy before or after daycare. He clinged onto me at every drop off/pick up and seemed scared to stay there. The workers are overworked and underpaid and it shows. This place has a high turn over rate of staff and many of the workers seem miserable to be there. I switched my son to another day care and they are doing a much better job. He has not been sick. He is always clean when I pick him up and actually happy. And he jumps out of my arms to go to the teachers. Once I made the switch, I knew I made the best decision for him! Would not recommend this place unless you want to live in constant anxiety whether your baby is being cared for correctly.

Is Davis Center for Child Development a licensed child care provider in Tennessee?

Yes. Davis Center for Child Development holds Tennessee licence TN-1652, listed as "LICENSED" by the Department of Human Services, Child Care Services in Knox County. Confirm current standing on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov before enrolling.

What is Davis Center for Child Development's star rating in Tennessee?

Tennessee rates Davis Center for Child Development 3 stars, on a scale of one to three where three is highest. The Star-Quality rating measures programme standards the state assesses, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence itself.

What are Davis Center for Child Development's hours?

The state record lists 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Tennessee publishes the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What are the site rules at Davis Center for Child Development?

The provider reports No Dogs, No Pets, No Smoking/Vaping, No Cats, Wheelchair Accessible. These are self-reported to the state rather than verified at inspection, so confirm anything your child's health depends on directly.

Does this page show inspection results for Davis Center for Child Development?

No. Tennessee publishes a report card of licensing citations for each provider, and those are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects Davis Center for Child Development's inspection history either way. Look the provider up on the state's child care provider map at onedhs.tn.gov and read its report card.
