We cannot say enough wonderful things about Fountain City United Methodist Preschool! Both of our boys attended here, for a combined total of 6 years, and our experience was truly wonderful. Every teacher our kids had was patient, kind, communicative, and loved on our boys like they were their own. We never worried when we dropped them off because we knew they were in loving, capable hands. My husband and I have always said that if they had grade school, we never would have left Fountain City United Methodist! We are so thankful for the teachers, staff, and the love they poured into our kids over the years. ❤️ If you’re looking for a preschool where your child will be genuinely loved and cared for, we cannot recommend them enough!
Kayla NewmanAug 17, 2026My son went to preschool and summer camp here for 2 years and we loved it. All the teachers he had were great and the director Ms Alicia was great also. He learned so much and he loved playing with the other kids. They have different options for how many days a week and how many hours a day. And the price was very reasonable.
Rachel LandrumJul 27, 2026Fcumc is a wonderful preschool. I have had three children go through their program and they have loved every teacher they’ve had and have thrived in the environment. We chose a 2 day/week program and It was perfect for our family in the pre school years. My kids have wonderful memories and loved going back to visit when their younger siblings attended. I have so much appreciation for the priorities of experiential learning and fostering a loving, screen free, creative environment at an affordable price. I cant think of anything I would change about the school. We love FCUMC!
Caroline SmithJul 25, 2026My three kids have all gone through FCUMC over the last 6 years and I could not recommend it more. The teachers and director, Ms Alycia, are all wonderful and kind. I completely trust each of them and always felt safe leaving my children there. They do an amazing job with the kids and provide a great balance of physical activity, play, learning, and fun. Mine all absolutely loved going to school and camps there and were well prepared for kindergarten.

Natalie SJan 1, 2024I have been affiliated with FCUMC for about 17 years. I have always found this preschool to be one of the best in Knoxville. They go above and beyond and have they sweetest teachers/staff in the business. I hope they have many many more years of success.
