Reena and Iman are such caring and dedicated daycare providers. They treat each child as an individual and create a safe, stimulating, and clean learning environment where children are happy and truly loved. The kids engage in so many fun, age-appropriate activities. Reena and Iman are also excellent communicators, always promptly addressing questions, sharing news, and keeping parents updated. I highly recommend ACA for their personalized care and creation of true home-school partnerships.
Michelle CSep 21, 2025The passion, love, and care that Reena and Iman have for the children shine through in their actions and their program. I love the diversity they bring to their classroom. When I visited, they had just finished teaching about different countries of the world. The classroom was very clean and full of many different learning activities. I highly recommend Annandale Children's Academy for anyone who has a pre-school to kindergarten age child.
Nicole CamejoSep 18, 2025My daughter loved going to ACA. She attended part time through Pre-K and during that time it felt like a warm and welcoming family. The teachers were very accommodating and kind. Their approach to developmental learning was a good balance of play and structured learning. They went above and beyond with their curriculum, activities and events hosted outside of school. I watched my daughter grow in her social skills, comfort level and education there while she made friends along the way. It felt like such a stimulating and nurturing environment that was tailored to each of the kids. The teachers were great at communicating and they updated us regularly with photos so we saw what type of activities the kids were involved in. I often saw my daughter clearly excited and engaged with the activities and play. We couldn't have asked for more with our time at ACA and think very highly of the teachers and staff.
Michael SargentMar 13, 2025Reena and Iman (and the whole ACA team) do an amazing job of caring for the children entrusted to them. They make the kids feel welcome and loved from the beginning to the end of the day. The days are filled with a great schedule of learning, themed lessons, outside play, reading books, and fun activities. They also sent daily pictures of the activities which helped to talk about the day with our child. ACA is very professional and did an excellent job of communicating about any daily issues, schedules, and other events. They also hosted events after normal school hours and attended birthday parties which helped create a community around the school. We can’t recommend them highly enough! (We’re a military family and had to move but one of the hardest parts of leaving was taking our 3 y/o daughter out of ACA; she keeps talking about how she misses her ‘school friends.’)
Chet HutchinsonJul 15, 2023Our son has been with them for almost a year and I cannot say how amazing they are with him. They focus on learning and have a lot of outdoor time and free play. They even have events for the kids and had a petting zoo, live insect and reptile day and a parents kids free day. They have a lot of activities for the kids which feel Montessori based and we are sent photos daily. They do yoga in the mornings!!!The teachers (Reena and Iman) are amazing and treat my son like their own. He has learnt so much and it has a very family feel. All the kids know each other and attend bdays together. It’s hard to have your child handed over to someone else but they are so great that it has made it easy. I love them and am so lucky to have found them!
Leonora SouzaMay 13, 2022I can't thank ACA enough for all that has been provided to my daughter. We did extensive research in the type of childcare I wanted for my 16 month old (now 18.5 months) and visited many facilities in the area. We selected ACA since it appeared more intimate and less like a business. I could not have made a better choice! ACA has gone beyond my expectations. First, they offer a perfect blend of learning and play. ACA has structured curriculum while allowing for each child to learn and participate at his/her ability. The child to teacher ratio is also better than most child care facilities/schools. Speaking of teachers, Reena and Iman are the most thoughtful teachers who take the time to make each child feel special and tailor everyone's day accordingly while making it the most inclusive environment. They are very creative with the day's agenda engaging all the students regardless of the various ages and stages of the students. The activities bring out the best learning and creativity for the children. Their care is unparalleled to other centers. They have created a family atmosphere that brings such comfort to the parents and children. My daughter is usually reluctant about being left anywhere without seeing her dad or me, but she happily enters ACA and waves us off as she embarks on her day. We would like to keep this our secret but ACA is too good not to compliment or acknowledge!
