I truly cannot express enough gratitude for Tracie at Childtime on Old Lane. She was honestly my light at the end of a very long and stressful road. As a mother, finding childcare is already emotionally overwhelming, but trying to find quality childcare that you genuinely feel safe and comfortable leaving your children with is on another level. I visited several different facilities before coming to Childtime, and between long waitlists, lack of communication, and just feeling unwelcome at times, I was starting to lose hope. What stood out to me about Tracie was not just her professionalism, but her heart. She was willing to help get my 5-year-old enrolled, and she even went out of her way to call around to other facilities to try to help me find placement for my twins as well. That level of compassion and dedication is something you do not come across often. As a parent, you can feel when you are being judged, dismissed, or treated differently, and unfortunately I experienced that at other places. But when I walked into Childtime, I did not feel judged, I felt welcomed, heard, and genuinely cared about. That is the kind of experience every mother deserves when searching for care for their children. Thank you again, Tracie, for your kindness, patience, and willingness to help during one of the most stressful times in my life. People like you truly make a difference, and I will never forget the compassion you showed my family 🤍
Nikki VancoMay 27, 2026Today I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing school for my toddler and I was very pleased with the facility. I was absolutely thrilled with the staff they are definitely god sent. Best first time experience as a first time mom of a toddler.
Jamilla HarrisFeb 6, 2026I can’t say enough great things about this daycare! From the very beginning, Julie, Shacole, Guli, Coletta, Bri, Lanette, and Toni have all been absolutely wonderful to work with. They truly care for the children as if they were their own, and that kind of love and attention shows every day. My children have felt safe, happy, and supported in their growth while attending here. The staff are patient, kind, and always go above and beyond to make sure both kids and parents feel comfortable. I’m so grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on my family and highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a nurturing and trustworthy place for their little ones. Despite the challenges under the previous director, this daycare has made a successful turnaround and now has a very positive environment.
Kaylah WardcSep 11, 2025My daughter has been going to Childtime since she was 8 months and they've treated her like their own. As first time parents, we were nervous about her being with anyone that wasn't family, but over the last year, the staff has become a family. My child comes home singing songs, pointing out new words, and loving a good story time. They do a great job at keeping us updated on her activities, food, potty time, and naps. Improvements have been made and they are truly an amazing team of teachers for the little ones. Thank you Childtime for providing my daughter with a caring, nurturing and exciting environment where she can socialize and enjoy her day with her friends while we are at work.
Arin HubbardSep 11, 2025The reviews go to show that leadership can really make or break you. From the time we got on the waiting list to now, there has been 5 different directors which feels like quite a lot of turnover. That lack of consistency has certainly caused some frustration and hiccups. The new director, Tracie, really seems invested in correcting the problems caused by her predecessor (good riddance, Patricia!). What has always been consistent is me feeling like my son is being well cared for. The single care concern I had was addressed quickly by the assistant director, Ms. Coletta, who has been present and involved since we started care. Even with the turnover of directors, I always felt that we could go to her with any questions or concerns and they would be resolved in a satisfactory manner. My son started in May 2023 at just 12 weeks old. From day 1, I was made to feel like he was in safe and loving hands. His infant room teachers celebrated his milestones with as much excitement as we did. His time in the toddler room really helped him make that smooth transition from baby to big boy. And now in the Early Preschool room (2's), his curiosity and desire to learn new things is regularly being satisfied through activities and experiments. While there has definitely been some turnover with teachers, which is expected in a demanding and poorly valued profession, there have been consistent faces amongst the staff that my son knows and loves. I truly feel that my son holds a special place in the hearts of these educators who have been a part of watching him grow. Ms. Lynette, Ms. Toni, Ms. Julie, Ms. Guliana, Ms. Meeks, Ms. Bre'Asia, Ms. Rolanda, and Ms. Coletta are a part of our village and I'm very thankful for these wonderful ladies who have helped and are helping my son to be the incredible little boy that he is.
Chloe NordgaardSep 10, 2025I have read these reviews and seeing the slander Ms. Patricia is getting is ugly and untrue. I have family members that have come to this center before she became the director and the change she is trying to make is needed! Before she arrived there wasn’t any professionalism in the staff, teachers were rude and the previous director was horrible to her parents. Ms. Patricia has shown my family that she can change the center for the betterment of the children, she seems caring, compassionate, and capable of bringing Childtime to what we all hope it can be! I believe Ms. Patricia is doing the best she can to change the center in the short time she has been there and needs patience and support from her families like mine.
