  We can't say enough good things about La Petite! Our child attended from 11 months old until age 6, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Throughout those years, the teachers and staff consistently provided a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our child could learn, grow, and thrive. What truly sets La Petite apart is the people. Every staff member genuinely cares about the children, and it shows in everything they do. Our child formed wonderful relationships with the teachers and staff, and as parents, it gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing our child was loved and well cared for every day. The communication was always excellent, the staff was professional and compassionate, and it was clear that everyone was invested in helping each child succeed. We only left because we moved, and saying goodbye was incredibly difficult. We are so grateful for everything La Petite has done for our family over the past five years. We highly recommend them to any family looking for a place where their child will be cared for, encouraged, and truly known.

  We have really enjoyed and appreciated the compassion of all of the staff at La Petite. We enrolled our daughter when she was 6 months old and have really bonded with the teachers. They engage with her and all of the infants all day long and she thoroughly enjoys her days there. Being a premie, she has had some struggles, however all of the staff at La Petite have shown her so much care worked with us as we navigate schedule changes and changes to our care plan. We love the schedule options La Petite offers with 12 hours of care, Parent Nights Out, Family Days, etc. and enjoy the frequent activities and spirit days they do with all of the children! We definitely recommend La Petite to any family!

  As someone who has worked in early childhood education for over 20 years, I walked into my children’s preschool with a very different lens than most parents. I knew what to look for, and honestly, I knew what could go wrong. That made choosing a program harder. I was not easy to impress. When we found LaPetite Academy of Alexandria, we found peace of mind. My daughter’s teachers are, without question, two of the best pre-K educators I have encountered in two decades in this field. That is not a compliment I give lightly. The quality of their practice, relationships with children, and the intentionality behind every interaction is the kind of thing you cannot fake and cannot train quickly. What sealed it for me is the staff longevity. In this industry, turnover tells you everything. For my daughter, I was looking for the quality of education and the richness of the environment. For my two-year-old son, my priority shifted to something more fundamental: Would he feel safe? Would his basic needs be met with consistency and warmth by people he could learn to trust? Staff longevity answers both questions. Children that age need familiar faces, and the stability of this team gave me confidence. The fact that this team has stayed, and clearly chosen to stay, speaks to leadership, culture, and a genuine commitment to the children in their care. That stability matters for young children, and it matters even more when you have two kids building trust with the same people over time. I am not a nervous parent by nature, but I am an informed one. This is the program I would recommend to anyone, knowing everything I know about what great early childhood education actually looks like from the inside.

  If you are looking for a place that educates the mind, motivates the heart, building little leaders right from the start. Stimulates thinking, encourages play, and helps young dreamers grow and find their way. This is the place. Seven years in with two kids, I appreciate all Lapetite of Alexandria does. Both children have been here since infant age. I love the communication from the teachers and staff. I love that the kids are learning even at infant age. I remember finding it so cool they were teaching the babies sign language and as they were older teaching spanish. All the administration and staff are friendly and have played a key role in both of our kids development. It really feels like family. Most importantly our kids enjoy and love being apart of the LaPetite family

  We are now in our seventh year at La Petite and love it even more today than when we started. We have had kids in each class from infant to school age and all the caregivers have been nothing short of stellar. They provide engaging activities that enrich my children academically, socially, and emotionally. While in pre-k, my daughter had mastered the concepts that were goals for the end of kindergarten. And special shout out to Ms. Donita in the school age class room! I can't recommend this La Petite highly enough.

  We can’t say enough good things about La Petite of Alexandria! My kids have been there almost 3 years. The teachers are truly amazing. They go above and beyond to teach and care for all kids. The PreK program prepared my kids extremely well for kindergarten. The school leaders are experienced, caring, friendly, and effective leaders. Our kids LOVE going to La Petite every day. We know this is thanks to the wonderful teachers and leaders and the safe, positive learning environment they create and foster each day. Thank you, La Petite of Alexandria!!!
