  This daycare has been an absolute lifesaver for our family! My son has struggled with failure to thrive, and finding caregivers who truly understand his needs and are willing to go the extra mile has meant everything to us. Since attending this daycare, he has been eating so much better because the staff take the time to patiently encourage and support him during meals. What stands out most is the incredible level of personal attention and care he receives every day. As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is genuinely loved, cared for, and treated like family when you're not there. Ghazala, or "Lala" as the kids affectionately call her, is amazing! She maintains constant communication and always keeps me updated, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. I honestly don't think we could have found a better daycare, especially in the Alexandria area. The love, dedication, and attention they give each child is truly exceptional. We are so grateful to have found this place, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their child!

  We’ve had a wonderful experience with sunshine daycare. Our toddler has struggled with failure to thrive and picky eating, and we’re so grateful for the extra effort the staff puts in every day which gives us great peace of mind and helps him gaining weight. The facility is clean, well-organized, and full of engaging activities that support learning and social growth. We’ve seen noticeable improvements in our child’s communication and feeding skills since enrolling. Communication with parents is consistent and transparent, which we really appreciate. Overall, we highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing and reliable environment.

  We are so, so happy that we chose to send our son to this daycare. He began when he was three months old and is now a little over a year. Ghazala and her husband treat him (and us!) like family, and our son LOVES going to daycare every day - if that isn't a sign that he is happy, cared for, engaged, and thriving than I don't know what is! We love that Ghazala offers a variety of age-appropriate activities and that there are other children that our son gets to spend time with -- it 's great that the group of children isn't too large, so they each get one-on-one attention and their unique, individual needs are always met. We love that Ms. Ghazala also cooks for the children - her food is delicious (we know first hand!) and it's great that he is able to try foods that we wouldn't necessarily provide at home. Hands down, we couldn't have gotten through our first year as parents without having Ms. Ghazala and her family in our corner. She is responsive, caring, communicative, warm, and loving to our son, and our whole family. Anyone would be lucky to send their child to Sunshine Daycare.

  Ghazala/ Sunshine Daycare is a wonderful daycare provider. As a new parent and someone who works in the social services field I was very particular in finding a daycare. Ghazala was recommended to us from a friend whose son thrived in her care and we saw how he was a happy, healthy, socialized child. My baby started daycare at 4 months old and Ghazala has been such a blessing to have a part of our modern day village. She truly cares for each child/family and provides a safe and stimulating environment for children. I would highly recommend Sunshine daycare to anyone!

  My son has been been going here since he was 3 months old and he loves Ghazala and Sunshine daycare. They provide him with healthy meals that they show the parents at the beginning of the month (breakfast, lunch, and snack), activities that help with their growth and development, and outdoor time in a safe and enclosed yard that features a privacy fence with child proof locks to keep the children safe. Ghazala is always up to date with her credentials and continuous to take classes to keep current and refreshed on child care and safety. As a first time parent I appreciated the report card she gave to our family to document our son’s day, as well as shows us pictures and videos of his activities through the day. She also notifies us if anything occurs that is out of the ordinary such as a rising temperature, mood temperament and appetite, etc. She treats the children like they are her own family and it shows! I truly appreciate her and this daycare and highly recommend her!

  My daughter has been coming to Sunshine Daycare since she was 9 months and now she's 4 years old. Ghazala is great in taking care of my daughter and other kids along with her assistant and husband . She sends pictures and videos of my daughter everyday. My daughter learned how to eat healthy food and to socialize. She's learning a lot while having fun with educational toys. Sunshine daycare has a backyard for the kids to play and run around. Thanks Ghazala for everything!
