We are very satisfied with our experience at Light Up childcare. The environment feels bright, clean, and incredibly welcoming. There are plenty of age-appropriate sensory stations and a very secure outdoor and indoor play areas that the kids love. The teachers are patient, energetic, and clearly passionate about early childhood development with bilingual. We get consistent updates on our child’s day with following their curriculum. Highly recommend to any parent looking for peace of mind.
YJ KwonApr 22, 2026We absolutely love Light Up Preschool for our 2-year-old son! Strongly recommend them for a few key reasons: Warm staff: The teachers are incredibly friendly and caring. Safe & clean: The facilities are spotless and well-maintained. Great ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 depending on age. Bilingual: A wonderful Korean and English environment.
Jake HuhMar 27, 2026We’ve had a very positive experience with this daycare/school. The teachers communicate closely with parents and really make an effort to create a good balance between home and school. They understand each child’s developmental stage and guide them with care and attention. The program offers a wide range of learning opportunities using the Experience Early Learning curriculum. Children are exposed to math, language, science, art, as well as social skills and physical development. The bilingual environment (Korean and English) is also a big plus for our family. I especially appreciate that the children have daily time for praise songs and movement while learning about God and His Word. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there are both indoor and outdoor playgrounds that help stimulate curiosity and learning through play. Circle time includes story time and group interaction, and activities like Show & Tell help children express their thoughts and build confidence. Overall, it’s a warm, supportive environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. 😊
Angela OhMar 21, 2026A Korean‑speaking daycare for children ages 2–4. The staff are kind, loving, caring, and highly professional. Each month features creative craft and drawing activities designed around a different theme. The daycare also offers seasonal picture days, daily photo updates for parents, and birthday celebrations for the children. Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, operating hours will change to 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. The daycare is closed during the summer months.
Chan Mi HwangMar 18, 2026The teachers are very professional and caring with the children. This is my son's first daycare, and he will graduate from here next year. We are very happy with the care he receives here.
han leeMar 16, 2026Great Korean-American daycare. The staff are professional yet caring. They also use offical programs and study materials that teaches and has a high interactive time. My kid loves going here. Currently the hours are 9-2pm and follows the Fair fax county school schedule but starting September, it will be 9-4pm.
