  We loved Matteo Place for our son. He spent his last year before kindergarten at Matteo and I only wish we had found the place sooner. The staff was so loving and warm and my son left speaking more Spanish than when he started. He also learned so much and did great activities. Their communication daily is great and I loved seeing the daily pictures of him on the app. Every day my son went to school so happy and was happy when I picked him up.

  We have had a wonderful experience at Matteo’s Place Bilingual Montessori School. My daughter has grown tremendously academically, socially, and emotionally since attending. The bilingual Montessori environment has helped her develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the director, Ms. Flor, for her dedication, leadership, and commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for every child. Ms. Rosa is always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making families feel valued and supported. A special thank you to my daughter’s teachers, Mr. Heady, Ms. Elena, and Ms. Diana. Their patience, kindness, and passion for teaching have had a lasting impact on my daughter’s growth and happiness. They create a positive and engaging classroom where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. I would also like to thank all of the other teachers and staff members at Matteo’s Place. Even those I have not mentioned by name have shown genuine care, professionalism, and dedication to the children. It truly takes a team to create such a loving and enriching environment, and we are grateful for every person who contributes to our children’s success and well-being.   We are so incredibly happy at Matteo’s! They offer so much flexibility for us, and the teachers and director have been so communicative and amazing.   Our (soon-to-be) 3-year-old son has been at Matteo's Place for almost a year now and he has learned SO MUCH in terms of language development, numbers, colors, shapes, and all of the fundamentals in Spanish and English. Ms. Dalia and Ms. Cindy have been so amazing! They really care and communicate all the time. The director also regularly keeps us updated on what's going on at the school and what's planned. I feel good about the safety and security protocols at the school and the camera system works very well,sl so we can see the kids almost all of the time. This school has been wonderful for getting him ready for school and life and we're so happy we found it!

  Our daughter just finished her first year at Matteo’s. She loved it so much, that we signed her up for the next year, without question. As a smaller school, all the teachers and staff know all the students and are extremely caring, considerate, and personable. It’s clear they truly love all the students! The staff is also very responsive through their app at any time. The assistant director, Rosa, is very involved, engaged and communicative. Our daughter was so fortunate to have Ms Marilu and Ms Christina this past year. They are absolutely amazing!!! My daughter learned so much from them and will be very sad to leave their classroom next school year. Additionally, her Spanish has improved tenfold. She definitely gained a lot more confidence with her Spanish speaking and learned so much in general Overall, we highly recommend Matteo’s! They’ve got a wonderful program that has the kids’ best interest in mind at all times. You won’t regret it!

  We've had an amazing experience at Matteo's Place. My son absolutely loves going to school every day, thanks to his two wonderful teachers, Ms. Marilu and Ms. Cristina. They are incredibly caring, patient, and skilled at engaging the children in creative and educational activities. One of the highlights has been the bilingual education, through which my son has become nearly fluent in Spanish. It's incredible to see how much he's learned and how confidently he speaks. The environment is warm and welcoming, and I’ve seen such positive growth in my son's social, linguistic, and learning skills. The school’s director Ms. Rosa is always around, loved by the children, and very responsive. I highly recommend Matteo's Place for any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive preschool experience in the Alexandria area.
