Our son has been going to the JCC ECLC for his daycare since he was 4 months old and it has been an amazing experience! The educators are amazing, and they put so much thought into how to give the kids new experiences and help them explore new things. The daily logs, pictures, and write-ups are amazing and help us see how happy our son is when he is there! Picking a daycare isn't easy, but we have been so happy with our decision to send our son to the ECLC!
Lloyd LuckFeb 21, 2026We feel so lucky to have enrolled our child here starting at 5 months. The staff is amazing and caring. The educators have done an excellent job engaging and teaching. He even learned how to use a sippy cup and spoon! We see how happy he is to spend time with his classmates and educators everyday. It is such a joy to be a part of the ECLC family.
M DJan 23, 2026Our family has been part of the Pozez JCC Early Childhood Learning Center community for the past four years, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this school. As a former early childhood teacher and school leader with a master’s in early childhood education and curriculum, my standards for care and pedagogy are high — and the ECLC continually exceeds them. The school follows the Reggio Emilia approach, which has been transformative for our children. It emphasizes curiosity, collaboration, and creativity, focusing on process over product — children learn to think deeply, explore their interests, and engage in meaningful problem-solving rather than simply completing tasks. Every day, teachers share thoughtful photos and updates through their app, allowing families to see how learning unfolds in real time. The educators here are exceptional: they know every child deeply, meet each one where they are, and approach them with genuine care and respect. You can feel that respect throughout the community — between teachers, administrators, parents, and children alike. It’s a place where kindness and empathy are modeled every day, and it shows in the way the children treat one another. Another standout is the strong administrative team. The ECLC has a robust leadership structure that supports teacher growth and well-being. Teachers receive regular professional development, coaching, and planning time — things that are unfortunately rare in many early childhood programs. The fact that so many staff members have been there for 10, 15, even 20 years speaks volumes about the positive culture and the value placed on both children and educators. An added value of the ECLC is that it’s part of the larger Pozez JCC community. The facilities are exceptional — safe, secure, and well-maintained. Families benefit from access to resources like the gym, pool, and other beautifully designed spaces, all of which enhance the school experience. There are also enriching extracurricular programs for both children and parents, helping families build connections beyond the classroom and feel part of a vibrant, supportive community. The sense of community here runs deep. Families are truly part of something special — a place rooted in values, respect, and connection. We feel so lucky to have found the ECLC and can’t imagine a better environment for our children to learn, grow, and become kind, capable, and curious humans.
Cassandra Potler KorikJan 22, 2026We have been thrilled with our time at the ECLC! This is our daughter’s 4th and final year there; she started when she was 1. It has become her second home, and her teachers, the admin, and her friends and their parents/siblings have truly become like second family to us. All the teachers and admin have been incredibly nurturing, caring, attentive, responsive, and helpful. Her classrooms have also always had a wonderful smaller-than-average student to teacher ratio. Our daughter has thrived here, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. They provide stimulating, age-appropriate activities and tune into the children’s interests. The teachers also do a wonderful job of taking photos throughout the day and posting the pictures and stories to the school app for us to keep informed with what the kids are doing throughout the day each day. They also do a wonderful job of keeping us informed of any issues, positive and negative. When we need to ask to meet in regard to anything, teachers and admin have always responded and accommodated us immediately. They also provide some opportunities to join the children in activities or have family engagement events occasionally throughout the year, which have been both fun and very informative! All the families are equally wonderful, and we have made so many friends in addition to our daughter, including sharing holidays together. We are so happy to have found the ECLC!
M KJan 16, 2026We love the JCC-ECLC!! The teachers and staff are top-notch— loving, caring, creative, and passionate. Both of my children skip into school. The teachers develop age-appropriate lessons based on the children’s interests. For example, my daughter’s three-year-old class loved dinosaurs. They learned all about dinosaurs— read about them, drew pictures, built a volcano, and re-enacted the dinosaur age with a play. The facilities are also top-notch.
Elizabeth RabeApr 23, 2023We love the ECLC! Our infant daughter attended the 2019-20 school year, and it was absolutely wonderful for her and us. Her educators looked forward to seeing her each day and were excited for each milestone she reached. It was very easy to work with the educators when it came to bottles, food, etc. for our baby. We love that the ECLC values a separate, adjacent napping room for the babies. Our baby thrived here. The ECLC has been a very caring and safe place for our baby girl!
