My family has relied heavily on this childcare center. The caregivers are warm and responsive, and my child adapted faster than expected. The place is clean, well-organized, and feels genuinely kid-focused. What really impressed me is the preschool program — our little one comes home talking about letters, numbers, and even science! It’s not just babysitting — it’s real learning in a fun environment. Highly recommend to any parent looking for reliable daycare and a strong preschool foundation.
Hassnaa BoussehibJun 16, 2026Our daughter attended The Nest Academy from infancy through 21 months, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the impact this school had on her development and our family. One of the most incredible things to witness was how much she learned and grew during her time there. By the time she was a toddler, she was confidently demonstrating concepts and skills that many children don’t encounter until they’re much older. The curriculum was intentional, engaging, and far beyond what we expected from a daycare setting. Every day was thoughtfully structured with learning activities, outdoor play, meals, rest, and opportunities to build social and emotional skills. Receiving updates and photos throughout the day gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to stay connected to her experiences even when I couldn’t be there. I always felt involved in her day. Another thing we greatly appreciated were the quarterly parent-teacher conferences. These meetings gave us meaningful insight into our daughter’s development, milestones, strengths, and areas of growth. It was clear that her teachers knew her well and were intentionally supporting her progress. Those conversations helped us feel like true partners in her early education and gave us confidence that she was thriving. What truly made The Nest special, though, were the teachers. My daughter absolutely adores them, and it was obvious that they genuinely love and care for her in return. She wasn’t just another child in a classroom—she was known, celebrated, encouraged, and loved. When it was time for our family to move out of state, the team created a personalized goodbye card for our daughter. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a reflection of the care they put into every relationship. I cried when we left. Leaving The Nest was far more emotional than I expected, and I felt like I needed more time to say goodbye to the teachers and staff who had become such an important part of our lives. Since moving, we’ve had the opportunity to experience childcare in another state, and it has only reinforced how exceptional The Nest Academy truly is. We have yet to find anything that compares to the curriculum, communication, developmental focus, and genuine care that our daughter received there. The Nest set an incredibly high standard for what early childhood education should look like, and we will always be grateful for the foundation they helped build for our daughter. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be challenged, nurtured, celebrated, and genuinely loved, I wholeheartedly recommend The Nest Academy. We miss it every day.
Alyssa MyersJun 9, 2026We've had a wonderful experience at The Nest Academy! The teachers are incredibly attentive, approachable, and genuinely caring. You can tell they truly love working with kids. Our 1yo son has really connected with his teachers, which means the world to us as parents. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very communicative, so we always feel informed and in the loop about his day and development. They also have an app where they send regular updates, which is a great touch for busy parents who want to stay connected. All of this gives us tremendous peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. A couple of minor drawbacks: the center closes more frequently than some other daycares for holidays etc., which requires a bit more planning on the parents' side. The app also doesn't offer a live feed.. That said, these are small trade-offs for the quality of care our son receives. We highly recommend The Nest Academy to any family looking for a nurturing and attentive preschool environment!
Erdeniz Ozgun BasMay 5, 2026Nest at Cameron is the third daycare/preschool he has been enrolled in since he was 6M old. There are at least eight daycare centers within 10 blocks of our home, and I evaluated nearly every single one of them. I had my hesitations about Nest, but after nearly 2 years, I believe I made the correct choice. Nest has smaller class sizes that allow my child to feel listened to and have the resources to learn and play. It doesn't feel like a toddler warehouse like ADS and Bluebird do. The building is beautiful and CLEAN. Staff are amazing at encouraging children to wash their hands and use tissues properly. Do not undervalue cleanliness. It's going to save your family in the long run when you aren't using up all your sick/vacation days to care for your child and/or yourself. I am so impressed by the full academic and social education he has been receiving. Every day, he is surprised and delighted by something new he has learned.
Nilly OzcanSep 2, 2025We love The Nest Academy! The teachers and staff are very caring. The building and classrooms are bright, cheerful, and spotlessly clean. Our soon-to-be 3 year old is thriving. While his teachers have helped reinforce concepts such as the alphabet, numbers, and colors, he is also learning about topics as varied as the weather and other cultures and countries. Everyday, he comes home excited about what he's learned. Just as important as the academics, though, are the friends he is making. He equates "The Nest" with "friendies". We highly recommend The Nest Academy!
Alexis SteinesJul 1, 2025Deeply Disappointed — This Program Failed Our Family Our experience with The Nest Academy was marked by poor communication, inconsistent leadership, and a lack of basic child development tools. We enrolled our son expecting a nurturing, structured environment that prioritized partnership between parents and educators. What we encountered instead was reactive discipline, vague responses, and a troubling disregard for our son’s emotional well-being. When our son began, he was joyful, curious, and excited about school. That quickly changed. Within months, he was telling us that other children were pushing, hitting, and calling him names. He began to dread drop-off and hid behind our legs. We observed peer conflict happening in plain sight, often with no intervention from staff. It became clear that the teachers were not proactive or corrective — and that the classroom lacked consistent structure and adult guidance. Despite multiple efforts on our part to engage constructively — including implementing behavior tools at home and asking for regular updates — we were told to stop checking in. Staff repeatedly reassured us that things were fine, right up until we were blindsided by an impersonal email threatening suspension and removal. This was not the result of a team effort. It was the result of a program that preferred to push problems out rather than work through them. Our son also began expressing language and behaviors at home, as well as making allegations, that deeply alarmed us — hiding under furniture, saying things like “don’t hit me,” and reacting with fear to basic correction. We raised these concerns, and they were brushed aside. Specialists we’ve since worked with — including a pediatric behavioral health specialist , psychiatrist, and therapist — have indicated that his behaviors likely stemmed from emotional distress and trauma response. That distress began — and peaked — during his time at The Nest. In our final meeting, we were met not with empathy or curiosity, but with condescension. The owner emphasized her track record of fixing other children and implied that our son’s challenges were the result of poor parenting — not once acknowledging the role the environment may have played. When we asked about previous staff comments suggesting our son was being unfairly blamed, we were simply told that wasn’t the case. We’ve since enrolled our son in a new program where he is genuinely thriving. He’s happy, secure, and once again loves school — the way a four-year-old should. The change has been immediate and undeniable. No amount of money will ever undo the damage this program caused our family. We are sharing this review to urge other families to look beyond surface-level impressions and ask tough questions about how this school communicates, responds to behavior, and supports children — especially when things get difficult. For us, The Nest Academy fell far short of that standard.
