  • We just wrapped the 1 year Pre-K program at CCA Redmond and we had great experience. My daughter has many great achievements and improvement during the last year, she loved her teacher Ms. Shae very much! The staff and team led by Ms. Becky has been very professional, the goal/curriculum setup, activities and events, and engagement of families have been great! Thank you team!

  • Our son has attended this school for Preschool and is currently in Pre-K, and we truly couldn’t be happier with our experience. The school maintains strong academic standards with high-quality instruction in Language Arts and Math. We’ve seen remarkable growth in both his skills and confidence. Ms. Sonia is incredibly caring and attentive. She understands each child’s unique strengths and learning style, providing thoughtful, individualized guidance. We feel very fortunate to have her as our son’s teacher. Beyond academics, the Character Education program helps children develop kindness, responsibility, and confidence in a joyful and meaningful way. The school also hosts two major performances each year, which have become unforgettable highlights for both students and families — truly special community moments we all look forward to. We also deeply appreciate the freshly made organic food prepared on campus, which gives us great peace of mind. We are so grateful to be part of this wonderful school community and highly recommend it to other families.

  • This school is a fit depending on your educational goals and values. The education at this school emulates East and South Asian school system which earns the "academically focused" label. Rote learning is at the heart of teaching here. The main goal for most parents is to advance their child in reading and math so they can place into gifted programs at public schools by accelerating children one grade level above. Please keep in mind that neither Ms. Keri or Ms. Brenda are no longer with the school and there's a high turnover with teachers. Please read Glassdoor reviews to get the teacher's perspective. Previous director Linda T. earned most of the 5 stars but she is no longer at the Redmond campus anymore (she's in Bellevue). Becki has taken her place but does not quite have the leadership qualities or social connection the way Linda did. They will present a curriculum at the start of school but will ultimately use worksheets from TPT. Most teachers have minimum credentials and my child's teacher lied about finishing a bachelor degree in their home country. Food is good but portions are small. Check if your child comes home more hungry than normal. Most children do well because the parents have already helped them advance (some kids start preschool knowing how to read) but the school likes to take credit for it when in reality they just take up from where the parents left off. No bullying present. Scratch and push? Yes. *Some* children come from a 1-child family and does not have the practice of sharing or to socialize correctly. The assessments do not accurately reflect the teaching at the school. Do your own assessment at home starting October so that your children doesn't fall behind. This is the main complaint from parents who withdrew their child after Pre-k. As a private school they can afford to have great photography, great vendors and big celebrations. I agree with Rajat's review below, it's profit first for this school.

  • It was a fantastic experience for our 3-year-old son to study on the Cedar Crest Academy Redmond campus. My son is so lucky to have Ms. Keri as his preschool teacher, who is so professional, passionate, creative and patient! My son enjoys every moment there and even wants to go to school even on weekends; he loves the teachers and friends here. While taking care of the children, the school is very good with early development, and teachers are impressively responsible for caring for kids and helping them develop happy learning habits. A BIG THANK YOU to Ms. Linda, Ms. Keri, Ms. Becky! And thanks to all the teachers! CCA-Redmond is a top early education school which I strongly recommend for you and your kids.

  • My daughter is enrolled Preschool program and my son enrolled Kindergarten program in CCA Redmond. Due to Covid, my kids' program is 100% through online. The teachers are absolutely amazing and passion for their profession. I really appreciate my kids' teachers because they are very professional, and very patient, and very carefully. I really introduce Ms. Linda, she is a director of Redmond campus, she is so nice and will let know everything you want. The second introduction is Preschool teacher Ms. Keri, it is so hard for teaching 3 or 4 years kids online, but she did, she did very well. She knows each kid's personality and academic. The third introduction is Kindergarten teacher Ms. Rogers, even she is strict with each kid, but all of the kids are like her very much. She is really good at Kindergarten Academic. Cedar Crest Academy Redmond campus is your best choice.
